Johnson (foot) is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Phillies, according to MLB.com's Joe Frisaro.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson nearly played Tuesday for the first time since Saturday, but he was scratched after being in the initial lineup, and remains sidelined Wednesday. Don Kelly will get the start at first base for the Marlins.

Johnson was scratched from Tuesday's lineup with a left foot injury, Andre Fernandez of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson fouled a ball off his foot Saturday and hasn't played since. Miguel Rojas is now slated to play first base Tuesday with Derek Dietrich at second base, batting fifth. Justin Bour (ankle) is making progress toward a rehab assignment, and once he returns, Johnson will presumably go back to playing exclusively against lefties.

Johnson is out of the lineup Sunday against the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson will get a regular day of rest after making five straight starts at first base for Miami. The 31-year-old has gone hitless in the first two games of the series, but prior to that, was 12-for-44 (.273) at the plate since July 1. Miguel Rojas will draw the start in his stead Sunday.

Johnson went 2-for-3 with his fourth homer Wednesday against the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
The long ball accounted for the only run the Marlins managed in a losing effort. Johnson's been seeing relatively steady playing time lately, but hasn't generally rewarded the Marlins with much offense. With Justin Bour (ankle) nearing a rehab assignment, Johnson's playing time could dry up rather soon.

Johnson is out of the lineup Sunday against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
After making four straight starts at first base, Johnson will get an apparent day off in favor of Don Kelly at first base. With Justin Bour (ankle) likely in need of a rehab assignment, Johnson should continue to see regular starts for roughly the remainder of the month.

Johnson is back in the lineup, playing first base and batting sixth, Saturday against Cincinnati, Clark Spencer of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
After sitting out Friday's contest, Johnson returns to the starting lineup as Don Kelly gets a day off. Johnson struggled somewhat in June, going 11-for-48 (.229) in 23 games but is off to a solid start in July, slashing .333/.364/.333 over 21 at-bats this month.

Johnson piled up three hits, scored two runs and drove in one RBI during Monday's loss to the Mets.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson got a rare start against a right-hander with platoon-mate Justin Bour (ankle) ailing. He got the scoring kicked off with an RBI single off of Matt Harvey in the second inning. The veteran is slashing .246/.294/.343 over 134 at-bats this season while seeing the vast majority of his starts when a left-hander is on the mound.

Johnson is starting at first base and batting seventh against the Cubs on Thursday, Andre Fernandez of the Miami Herald reports.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson is making his 19th start at first base this season with Justin Bour getting a day of rest. Johnson -- who's facing off against Jon Lester on Thursday -- has struggled against lefties this season, posting a .241 batting average. However, Johnson has sported averages above .325 against southpaws each of the last two seasons prior to 2016.

Johnson is in the lineup for Monday's game against the Rockies, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Johnson receives his second straight start in order to optimize the Marlins' lineup against southpaw Jorge De La Rosa. The 31-year-old is hitting .245/.300/.373 with three home runs and 10 RBI and will likely continue to see playing time against left-handed pitchers in the future.

Johnson smacked a two-run home run in Thursday's 10-3 win over the Twins.
EDGE Analysis
It was the veteran's third long ball of the season. After a slow start to the year, Johnson has picked up his game despite the erratic playing time. He's batting .321/.345/.571 over his last 12 games and .247/.304/.400 on the year over 85 at-bats. Johnson remains a steady corner-infield backup/pinch hitting option against, particularly against left-handed pitching.
