Chad Billingsley (elbow) was scheduled to meet with Dr. Neal ElAttrache after throwing a bullpen session Monday. Dr. ElAttrache will help determine the pitcher's next step, but Billingsley is hoping to resume his rehab assignment soon. The right-hander had to be shut down for a while after developing tendinitis in his pitching elbow.

Chad Billingsley (elbow) threw a bullpen session Tuesday. It's the first time he's thrown off a mound since being shut down for a bit and then receiving a PRP injection due to tendinitis in his pitching elbow. There's no timetable for Billingsley's return, but it sounds like he should resume a rehab assignment soon.

Chad Billingsley (elbow) has been picking up the intensity and velocity during his flat-ground throwing sessions. Billingsley receive a PRP injection in his elbow a couple weeks ago to combat some tendinitis, but he's starting to get back on track. The right-hander should return to a mound soon.

Dodgers transferred RHP Chad Billingsley from the 15-day disabled list to the 60-day disabled list. Billingsley is out indefinitely as he continues his recovery from Tommy John elbow surgery. He recently received a PRP injection to help with the healing process.

Chad Billingsley will receive a PRP injection in his right elbow on Wednesday and hopes to resume throwing next week. Billingsley has had a couple setbacks with his surgically-repaired elbow and was recently diagnosed with tendinitis. He had been hoping to return to action in early May, but that's not going to happen.

Chad Billingsley is dealing with tendinitis in his right elbow. The good news is that there's no ligament damage in the elbow. Billingsley had a bullpen session Tuesday cut short due to discomfort in the elbow. He'll be backed off from his throwing program, so obviously his timetable for return moves back as well. It's unclear what that timetable looks like right now.

Chad Billingsley has been sent for a dye-MRI on his right elbow after a bullpen session Tuesday was cut short due to renewed discomfort. It's the second setback he's had recently, as Billingsley felt something in his elbow just over a week ago during his first rehab start. He was cleared of any structural damage the first time around, but the Dodgers are injecting dye into his elbow this time to get a better look. Obviously the odds of him returning as hoped in early May are totally up in the air.

Chad Billingsley has been told that the pain he felt in his right elbow during his first rehab start Sunday is simply scar tissue coming loose. It's a pretty coming thing for pitchers coming back from Tommy John surgery. Billingsley will rest for a few days before being examined to see if he can resume throwing. It's a minor setback that could push back his timetable slightly but isn't anything to worry about over the long haul.

Chad Billingsley felt "a sensation" in his elbow during his first minor league rehab start on Sunday. He underwent a series of tests after being removed from the game and checked out fine, but he will likely be held out of his next scheduled start for precautionary reasons. That would push back his timeline to return to the Dodgers until mid-May, as he's expected to need five rehab starts to build up his arm strength.

Chad Billingsley (elbow) will begin a rehab assignment with High-A Rancho Cucamonga on Sunday. The plan is for him to make five rehab starts, which would put him on pace to return in early May if all goes well. That timetable would likely put him ahead of Clayton Kershaw (back), who is expected to be out of action for at least another month. Billingsley had Tommy John surgery in late April of last year.
