Ramos was offered a Triple-A deal Saturday, and he's in the process of deciding whether or not to accept, Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ramos had hoped to make the Opening Day roster, but failed to do so and may now opt to look elsewhere for a major league spot. The 31-year-old appeared in 65 games as a reliever for the Angels last season, posting a 2.75 ERA and a 2.87 K:BB ratio.

Ramos signed a minor league contract with the Rangers on Tuesday that includes an invite to major league spring training.
EDGE Analysis
Ramos appeared in 65 games as a reliever with the Angels in 2015, compiling a 2.75 ERA with a 2.87 K:BB ratio. However, according to the Rangers, he will be given a chance to prove himself as a starter when spring training gets underway.

The Angels declined to tender Ramos a contract for 2016, Mike DiGiovanna of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Of all of Wednesday's non-tenders, Ramos' is the only one that does not seem to make much sense, as he managed a 2.75 ERA in 65 appearances last season and was only due about $1.7 million through the arbitration process. However, the Angels are apparently content with their other lefty options out of the bullpen, so Ramos will hit the open market. He figure to land a major-league deal from another club.

Ramos signed a one year, $1.3 million contract with the Angels on Thursday to avoid arbitration, Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com reports. Ramos finished the 2014 campaign with a decent stat line, posting a 3.70 ERA and 1.36 WHIP in 43 appearances (seven starts) over the course of the season. His fastball saw a significant drop in velocity, however, from 91.1 MPH in 2013 to 90 MPH in 2014. Despite the drop, he posted better numbers in 2014, but struggled with walks (4.24 BB/9). He was traded to the Angels in the offseason, and is expected to be the club's top lefty out of the bullpen in 2015.

Angels GM Jerry Dipoto indicated Ramos will serve as the top lefty out of the bullpen in 2015, Alden Gonzalez of MLB.com reports. Acquired from the Rays on Wednesday in exchange for Mark Sappington, Ramos put up a somewhat underwhelming 3.70 ERA and 1.35 WHIP in 43 appearances in 2014, but he's held opposing lefties to a .241/.301/.324 batting line for his career. He'll likely assume the role of top lefty right away, making him of some interest for those in leagues that count holds.
