Brandon Beachy (elbow) will throw around 45-50 pitches or three innings Tuesday when he resumes his rehab assignment with Triple-A Gwinnett. The Braves backed off Beachy after he felt some tenderness in his surgically-repaired elbow last month, but his rehab is officially back on track. He's expected to make at least one more rehab start before being reevaluated.

Brandon Beachy (elbow) will resume his rehab assignment Tuesday with Triple-A Gwinnett. Beachy was cleared after making it through a 50-pitch bullpen session Saturday without any issues. It's not clear how many rehab starts he'll need before he's activated from the DL, but he's now on track to rejoin the Braves' rotation at some point during the second half.

Brandon Beachy (elbow) threw a 50-pitch bullpen session on Saturday and reported feeling fine. The Braves will reevaluate him on Sunday morning to determine whether he is ready for a minor league rehab assignment. Beachy is on his way back from Tommy John surgery and likely to need several minor league starts. He's a good guy to stash in deep mixed formats.

Brandon Beachy (elbow) threw a light bullpen session on Saturday. It was his first since being shut down earlier this month due to soreness in his surgically-repaired right elbow. "I couldn't extend my arm, but that's gone," Beachy said. "That feels good. I threw normally without that restriction. Felt good." The Braves will wait to see how Beachy's elbow responds before determining the next step. He'll need a couple bullpen sessions before resuming a rehab assignment.

Brandon Beachy (elbow) is expected to resume throwing off a mound at some point during the team's current homestand. He's had his rehab shut down completely the past two weeks after experiencing inflammation in his surgically-repaired elbow. If all goes well after a few bullpen sessions, Beachy would likely resume his minor league rehab assignment. He's still weeks away from a potential return to the Braves' rotation.

Brandon Beachy (elbow) is scheduled to throw a bullpen session before the end of the week. Beachy played catch Tuesday for the second time in three days. He had been slated to return to the bump by Wednesday, but that timetable has been pushed back a couple days. He's expected to need at least a couple rehab starts before being activated, making his return prior to the All-Star break unlikely.
