The start wasn't Beachy's worst of the year, but the performance saddled him with his first loss of 2013. He gave up five hits, including a two-run homer to Marlon Byrd, while striking out four. Beachy is now 2-1 with a 4.50 ERA in five starts. He'll make his next start Sunday against the Cardinals in St. Louis.
