Jackson is not in the lineup Sunday against the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson went 2-for-3 with a double and run driven in Saturday, but he'll get the afternoon off with Gorkys Hernandez taking over at center field and batting leadoff.

Jackson went 1-for-4 with two RBI in Friday's 11-2 loss to the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
His bases-loaded single in the top of the fourth inning very briefly brought the Giants level at 2-2 before things fell apart. Jackson hasn't had much success at the plate this season, slashing .222/.297/.256 in 27 games, but eight of his 11 RBI have come in his last nine contests, during which he's hitting .292 (7-for-24).

Jackson is not in the lineup Wednesday against the Phillies, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran is hitting a disappointing .224/.295/.259 so far this season. He can hardly blame BABIP luck, as his BABIP stands at a very high .373, suggesting that he's been lucky, if anything. What he can certainly blame is a 36.8 percent strikeout rate, a number well above his career average of 23.4 percent. Gorkys Hernandez will start in his place Wednesday.

Jackson is out of the lineup Sunday against the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson will head to the bench for Sunday's game, giving way to Gorkys Hernandez in center field. Although he went 2-for-4 with three RBI during Game 2 of Saturday's doubleheader against the Dodgers, Jackson's bat has been quiet for much of the season. After 19 games he owns an unimpressive .214/.253/.243 line.

Jackson got the start in center field for the second game of Saturday's doubleheader against the Dodgers and went 2-for-4 with a double and three RBI in an 8-3 win.
EDGE Analysis
Injuries in the Giants' outfield continue to allow Jackson to see semi-regular playing time, but the veteran hasn't done much with them, slashing .214/.253/.243 through 75 plate appearances. Both Hunter Pence (thumb) and Mac Williamson (concussion) could be back by the beginning of May, however, pushing Jackson firmly into a bench role.

Jackson was added to the lineup for Wednesday's game against Washington after Mac Williamson (neck) was scratched from the starting nine, Alex Pavlovic of NBC Sports Bay Area reports
EDGE Analysis
Jackson will man center field during the series finale though the Giants have yet to release their updated batting order at this point in time. Over 15 appearances this season, Jackson is hitting just .211/.258/.228 with one extra-base hit, three RBI and 23 strikeouts in 57 at-bats.

Jackson is not in the lineup Sunday against the Angels, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson will begin the game on the bench for the second straight day as the Giants square off against righty Jaime Barria and the Angels. Gregor Blanco picks up the start in center field, batting ninth.

Jackson is not in the lineup Saturday against the Angels, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran outfielder is off to a slow start to the year, hitting just .212/.263/.231. He can't blame poor BABIP luck, as his BABIP sits at .333. What he can blame is a career-high 35.1 percent strikeout rate. He'll have to make more contact to remain in a starting role, especially with Gregor Blanco hitting .370 so far this year. Blanco will get the start in center field Saturday.
