Jackson went 3-for-4 with an RBI in Monday's 6-4 win over Cincinnati.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson pushed the lead to three in the first inning on a single to left field. He's recorded a base knock in each of his previous three games, going 6-for-10 with three RBI, a home run and a walk over that span. Jackson is slashing .269/.335/.349 with a .684 OPS through 68 tilts this season.

Jackson went 1-for-2 with a walk and a solo home run in Sunday's loss to the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
After struggling to a .604 OPS with zero homers in 59 games as a Giant, Jackson's bat has snapped to life since joining the Mets. He now boasts a .364/.440/.636 slash line with two home runs and a steal in eight games in his new uniform, and while the 31-year-old should soon fall back to earth, he figures to see regular playing time until he does.

Jackson will start in center field and bat sixth Sunday against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson will be included in the starting nine for the sixth time in seven games after producing a trio of two-hit performances during that stretch. The Mets have facilitated room in the lineup for Jackson of late by moving Jose Bautista to third base, though that will no longer be a regular option now that Todd Frazier is off the disabled list. As a result, Jackson and Bautista may soon have to battle one another for playing time in the outfield alongside entrenched starters Brandon Nimmo and Michael Conforto.

Jackson will start in center field and bat sixth in the order Sunday against the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson signed with the Mets on Friday, and struck out in a pinch-hit appearance in his team debut. He'll get the starting nod in center field Sunday, filling in for the injured Michael Conforto (thumb). Keep expectations regarding both playing time and production relatively low for Jackson, who had just a .604 OPS across 59 games with the Giants before he was traded to Texas (and ultimately let go).

Jackson agreed to a major-league contract with the Mets on Friday, Jon Heyman of Fancred reports.
EDGE Analysis
With Yoenis Cespedes (heels) out for the year and Jay Bruce (hip) on the DL, Jackson will provide some needed depth to the Mets outfield. In 59 games with the Giants this year, Jackson slashed .242/.309/.295 with 13 RBI, eight extra-base hits and two stolen bases. After being traded to the Rangers in early July, he was designated for assignment and subsequently released. Though Michael Conforto and Brandon Nimmo are locked in to a pair of the outfield positions, Jackson should receive some playing time while fighting with Jose Bautista and Matt den Dekker in right field.

Jackson was released by the Rangers on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson will look to latch on elsewhere after he was designated for assignment Wednesday. He never truly reported to Texas after being traded by the Giants on Sunday: Rangers general manager Jon Daniels told Jackson to hold off on reporting to the team due to a lack of potential playing time for the 31-year-old. Through 59 games in the big leagues this season, he hit .242 with eight extra-base hits and 13 RBI.

Jackson was designated for assignment by Texas on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson was recently acquired by the Rangers in a trade with the Giants in order for the latter club to shed some salary. Since Jackson was told to hold off on reporting to Texas by Rangers general manager Jon Daniels, it was apparent that the organization didn't see much playing time in the cards for the 31-year-old outfielder. He will now be subject to the waiver wire and could wind up with another organization in the coming days.

Jackson was told by Rangers general manager Jon Daniels to hold off on reporting to the team after being acquired in a trade Sunday, Gerry Fraley of the Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Daniels said the Rangers are "evaluating our options" with Jackson, who was sent to Texas along with reliever Cory Gearrin and minor-leaguer Jason Bahr from San Francisco. Under MLB's labor agreement, Jackson has 72 hours to join his new team. The general manager spoke with Jackson and told him there would not be much playing time for the 31-year-old outfielder. Taking on Jackson's salary was part of the price for the Rangers to acquire their primary motivation for the deal, Bahr, who they feel is an undervalued prospect.

Jackson was acquired by the Rangers as a part of a three-player trade with the Giants, Henry Schulman of the San Francisco Chronicle reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson, Cory Gearrin and minor-leaguer Jason Bahr will head to the Rangers with the Giants receiving a player-to-be-named or cash. The Giants offloading Jackson and his contract made sense given the emergence of Gorkys Hernandez and their general outfield depth, as Jackson has made only one start since June 15. Jackson likely slides into a role as the Rangers fourth outfielder, with Joey Gallo, Delino DeShields and Nomar Mazara currently slotted in as the starters.

Jackson batted seventh and went 2-for-4 in Sunday's 9-5 win over the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
After beginning the season as the Giants' starting center fielder, Jackson has fallen into a platoon role behind a combination of Gregor Blanco, Gorkys Hernandez and occassionally Brandon Belt. His struggles at the plate have even led to the veteran dropping from first to seventh in the order when he does start against southpaws. The 31-year-old is posting career-worst marks in terms of strikeouts (35.4 percent) and isolated power (0.53), and a career-high .406 BABIP indicates that he may be over-performing with a mediocre .248 batting average. With Mac Williamson (concussion) nearing a return, Jackson's status with the club may be reduced even further if he doesn't turn things around quickly.
