Ethier (leg) had a bone scan conducted Friday, Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
The results have yet to come back but Ethier will be looking for positive news as he's been recovering from a tibia fracture for nearly four months. The 34-year-old has progressed to soft toss and light jogging in recent weeks and is shooting for a return to the majors sometime in August.

Manager Dave Roberts said Wednesday that he's hoping Ethier will be able to return as early as August 2, Andy McCullough of the LA Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ethier remains on the 60-day DL, and he's still about a month out from a return to the Dodgers. He's making steady progress, though, and could begin playing in rehab games in roughlytwo weeks. The August 2 return date is oddly specific for such a long-term injury, but it marks the start of a three-game set against the Rockies in Colorado and comes on the heels of an August 1 off day.

Ethier (leg) is with the Dodgers in Los Angeles and has been cleared for increased baseball activity, Bill Plunkett of the Orange County Register reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ethier will be able to return to soft toss swings and light jogging, though this report does little to establish a potential return timetable. The Dodgers are down a left-handed outfielder due to the placement of Joc Pederson (shoulder) on the DL, so Ethier's return may get the fast track if the team feels he responds well to the increased workload.

The Dodgers clarified that Ethier won't get another scan on his injured leg this week, Andy McCullough of the Los Angeles Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ethier was originally scheduled to get a scan on Thursday, but the Dodgers now say that this will not occur, as he has a lot of other things to do before he'll be evaluated again. It's likely more updates will come out as soon as he is rescheduled for evaluation.

Ethier is scheduled to get another scan on his injured right leg on Thursday but is still "a ways away" according to manager Dave Roberts, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ethier was originally looking at a late June return, but unless this upcoming scan comes back with great news it looks like the outfielder will be out into July, if not longer. We'll update his status as soon as the results are in.

Ethier (leg) will get another bone scan in a week, Ken Gurnick of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ethier is currently slated for a return in mid- to late-June, but his timetable should become clearer following the check-in with his doctor.

The Dodgers are targeting mid-to-late June for Ethier's return from a fractured right tibia, David Vassegh of 570 AM LA Sports radio reports.
EDGE Analysis
According to manager Dave Roberts, a CT scan Friday showed improvement in Ethier's leg, enough to where he can start working out on an anti-gravity machine. This mid-to-late June estimate falls pretty much right in the middle of the original 10-to-14 week timetable for Ethier's recovery.

Ethier will undergo X-rays on his shin Friday morning, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports radio reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Dodgers want to get an idea of how the shin is healing, so they will send Ethier for a follow-up exam. Handed a 10-to-14 week estimated recovery timetable after suffering the injury in spring training, he is not expected back until June at the earliest.

Ethier (leg) was transferred to the 60-day DL Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Ethier isn't expected back until June, so the Dodgers will make this procedural move to clear up an extra spot on the 40-man roster. As it currently stands, the Dodgers are down three left fielders, so the need for the extra roster spot emerged a bit sooner than expected.

Ethier (leg) was placed on the 15-day DL Sunday, MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ethier remains on track for an early-June return after suffering a broken right tibia, so this roster move comes at no surprise. The team may soon elect to move him to the 60-day DL in order to free up a spot on the 40-man roster.
