Ethier recorded his first hit of the season Thursday against Arizona and is now 1-for-11 on the year.
EDGE Analysis
Ethier has started each of the last two games with Yasiel Puig nursing a sore left shoulder. With Puig and Andrew Toles in the mix for at-bats,, Ethier probably won't start more than 2-to-3 times a week the rest of the way.

Ethier is starting in left field Sunday versus the Marlins, Eric Stephen of True Blue LA reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ethier will hit seventh and make his first MLB start of the season, as he's dealt with a leg injury for much of the year. He played well during his rehab assignment at High-A Rancho Cucamonga, where he hit .290/.343/.419 over nine games.

The Dodgers activated Ethier (leg) from the disabled list Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Ethier has not played for the Dodgers all season while recovering from his broken leg, but he will join the team for the final weeks of the regular season. Given the length of his absence and the Dodgers' outfield depth, he figures to assume a part-time role.

The Dodgers are expected to activate Ethier (leg) from the DL on Saturday, David Vassegh of 570 AM Los Angeles reports.
EDGE Analysis
Reports of Ethier's impending arrival to Miami fueled speculation that he could be activated in time for Friday's series opener against the Marlins, but the Dodgers will hold off on reinstating him until Saturday. Ethier fared well with High-A Rancho Cucamonga during his rehab assignment but it remains to be seen how often he'll play over the final weeks following the five-plus month layoff.

Ethier (leg) is 5-for-13 so far in his rehab assignment for High-A Rancho Cucamonga.
EDGE Analysis
The Dodgers haven't changed his mid-September projected return date, but with the way Josh Reddick is hitting, perhaps we'll see Ethier a bit sooner assuming all goes well in his rehab assignment.

Ethier (leg) will begin a rehab assignment at High-A Rancho Cucamonga on Thursday, JP Hoornstra of the Southern California News Group reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ethier is yet to play in 2016, but the team recently revealed that its hoping to have the veteran back sometime in mid-September. It's unclear how long he'll remain on rehab, but with the minor league season winding down, he could join the Dodgers when rosters expand next month. Any expectations for the 34-year-old should be relatively low, though he hit .294 with 53 RBI in 142 games last season. On Thursday, Ethier will go up against the Padres' Tyson Ross, who is also on a High-A rehab assignment at Lake Elsinore.

Ethier (leg) is a now expected to return in mid-September according to manager Dave Roberts, reports Bill Shaikin of the LA Times.
EDGE Analysis
With the minor league season winding down, there doesn't appear to be much time for a rehab assignment. Ethier has been running and taking batting practice and is appearing more and more likely to contribute in some fashion next month.

Ethier (leg) has increased baseball activities and is now running the bases, David Vassegh of AM 570 LA Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ethier had been taking batting practice, but is now running bases at 75 percent. The club has yet to indicate when he'll head out on a rehab assignment, but his eventual return from the DL will add another sound bat to the lineup, as the 34-year-old posted a .294/.366/.486 line during the 2015 campaign.

Ethier (leg) took batting practice on the field prior to Tuesday's game, David Vassegh of AM 570 Los Angeles reports.
EDGE Analysis
Ethier cleared a fairly significant hurdle Tuesday, taking on-field batting practice for the first time since he suffered the injury in March, but he remains out a timetable to return. A bone scan earlier this month showed that Ethier's fracture was still not completely healed, but the outfielder said he is optimistic that he can return and contribute this season.
