It wasn't long ago that Guerrero was viewed as the next highly-touted Cuban import set to make a splash in the MLB, but due to the Dodgers' existing infield depth along with his defensive shortcomings, lack of plate discipline and health woes, the 30-year-old never seemed to find anything more than fleeting success in his three years in the organization. He spent the entire 2016 campaign in the minors before getting released by the Dodgers last June, and didn't latch on anywhere thereafter.
