Hill is not in the lineup Tuesday against Minnesota.
EDGE Analysis
Hill has started each of the previous five games at third base, but he'll take the day off Tuesday as Milwaukee goes with Colin Walsh at the hot corner. Walsh will lead off against Twins' starter Ervin Santana.

Hill is out of the lineup Wednesday against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Hill has played in each of the first seven games for the Brewers, hitting .130 with a walk and five strikeouts, but will cede the starting third base slot to Colin Walsh on Wednesday. Hill should continue to be the team's starting third baseman moving forward.

Hill went 1-for-4 with two RBI in Sunday's victory over the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Hill had the key hit in Sunday's win, but it was also just his third on the season, in 20 at-bats. While Hill is off to a slow start with the bat, he should continue seeing regular action at third base for the time being.

Hill is 5-for-33 (.152) with two RBI through 13 spring games.
EDGE Analysis
Hill has really struggled with the bat this spring, tallying just two hits since March 7. No matter, he is still on track to open the season as the Brewers' primary third baseman. It remains to be seen where he will slot into the batting order, but it will be somewhere between the fourth and eighth spots.

Manager Craig Counsell announced Monday that Hill is slated to open the season as the Brewers' starting third baseman, MLB.com's Adam McCalvy reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hill has played sparingly at third base in his career, but the Brewers' options at the position are limited, and using him at third base will allow the team to give Scooter Gennett ample playing time at second base, and also give Hill a chance to improve his trade value. The Brewers have yet to set their regular batting order, but Hill figures to most often bat in the lower portion.

Hill was traded to the Brewers on Saturday in a five-player deal, ESPN's Keith Law reports.
EDGE Analysis
Hill is owed $12 million for 2016, the final year of his deal, so Arizona was fortunate to be able to pass him off, but it costed one of their top prospects (Isan Diaz) to get the deal done. Hill could occupy the short side of a second base platoon with Scooter Gennett this year, while also seeing time at third base if young players like Will Middlebrooks and Garin Cecchini don't work out. Still, with Milwaukee rebuilding, the young players figure to get more chances than an aging Hill who does not factor into the team's long-term plans.

Hill went 3-for-5 with two doubles and two RBI in a blowout loss to the Astros on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Hill used to be an All-Star candidate in the past, but he's been relegated to a utility player this season. All the numbers are down across the board, as he holds a .23 average with six home runs and 39 RBI in 114 games this season. The one surprise are the seven steals, as it's the fourth-highest total in his 10-year career.

Hill (hamstring) is back in the lineup Friday against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Hill had been suffering from a hamstring injury and a sore hand, holding him out of the starting lineup since late August. He had been able to serve as a pinch-hitter each of the last two games, but it appears he's back to full health as he'll man the keystone and bat fifth.

Hill (hamstring) remains sidelined with an injured hamstring.
EDGE Analysis
It was thought that Hill would be able to return at some point this week, but he is still unable to take the field due to his sore hamstring, and it's not clear when he will be able to play next.

Hill (hamstring) could be back in the lineup by mid-week, reports Nick Piecoro of the Arizona Republic.
EDGE Analysis
Hill, who has battled both the hamstring and a sore hand recently, could find playing time tough to come by down the stretch as the D-backs take a look at younger players for 2016. Hill has had a second consecutive disappointing season, posting just a .234/.299/.339 line in just 311 plate appearances, and the 33-year-old appears near the end of the line in his career.
