So I need to know if Taysom Hill can be played as a WR even though is the current QB and for our league the points is where it gets really interesting for our league.
So our league has been around before the 80s and the founding fathers of the league created some interested point totals based off certain positions doing things that aren't ordinary to the position
QB rushing TD is 12 points
QB catching a TD is 18 points
RB/WR/TE throwing a TD 12 points
WR/TE rushing TD 12 points
So if Hill plays in the QB position on someone's team will he score like a normal QB or will he score the bonus as if he is a WR? So if he throws a TD will he score 6 points or 12?
If he is put in the WR position in our fantasy league will he score the standard 6 points for a TD or will he be credited with 12 points for a passing TD?
Luckily nobody has him currently but depending on how he scores I could seem him being rostered going forward. If he can be used in the WR position even if he is actually playing QB and scoring double the points for a WR doing QB things I could see some issues..
Just remember that whatever stat appears sequentially first with similar description (for every plain, after reaching, for the first) in your league's scoring rules that satisfies his roster slot will add to his score.
Hi, Yami-Ron or Fleaflicker, Is there a way to change the order in which the scoring categories appear? For our league, we have passing yard scoring for QB's and passing yard scoring for the other positions. The QB line appears after the other positions line. If I could get those to switch, I could placate my league's owners. I tried editing them, but they remain in the same order. Thanks.
Thanks for the response. Hill was in a WR slot, so only WR scoring rules apply, right? In other words, which scoring rules are applied is determined by the position slot the player occupies in the lineup, not the positions for which the player is eligible. Thanks.
Hi, Yami-Ron. Thanks for the reply. Yes, that will make the scoring rule move below the QB rule. However, since Hill started in a WR slot, the WR passing yardage rule is still used, not the QB passing yardage rule. This is consistent with what fleafounder replied above. Thanks. Good luck.

It depends on what slot he was started in.

Hi wgjelinek,
Correct. For your Passing Yard rules, edit the first one (for RB, WR, TE, K) to say 2 points for every 50 yards, then it should fall below the QB one.
