Landamn re-signed with the Falcons on Wednesday, Terrin Waack of the Falcons' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Landman earned an increased role in his second season with the Falcons, appearing in 16 games and starting 14. The 25-year-old recorded 110 tackles (66 solo), while also notching two sacks, three passes defended and an interception during the 2023 campaign. His performance earned him a new contract and he can likely be penciled in as starter again next season in Atlanta's linebacker corps.

Landman finished 2023 with 110 tackles (66 solo), three pass defenses, three forced fumbles, two sacks and one interception in 16 appearances.
EDGE Analysis
Landman filled in admirably for Troy Andersen, who suffered a season-ending pectoral injury in Week 3. Landman was an undrafted product out of Colorado in 2022 and made just seven appearances as a rookie, logging one assisted tackle while playing primarily on special teams. His ascension into a 100-plus tackler who flashed as a playmaker is remarkable, and he could parlay the strong campaign into competing for a starting spot in 2024, as the Falcons will almost certainly extend the ERFA a qualifying offer this offseason. However, Andersen was a second-round pick, so Atlanta will presumably allow him to retain his starting spot given the capital invested.

Landman recorded six total tackles (five solo) in Sunday's 37-17 loss to the Bears.
EDGE Analysis
Landman finished tied for Atlanta's third-leading tackler in Week 17, bringing his season total up to 100 total tackles through 15 appearances. The second-year linebacker had a stretch of seven consecutive games with eight or more tackles earlier in the season, but he's only reached that mark once over the Falcons' last five contests. Expect Landman and Atlanta's defense to try and rebound against a Saints offense that's averaging almost 27 points per game over their last five outings in Week 18.

Landman logged nine tackles (seven solo) in Atlanta's 29-10 win Sunday versus the Colts.
EDGE Analysis
Landman was productive for Atlanta in Sunday's win as he racked up the second most tackles on the team. The 25-year-old has now compiled 94 tackles (56 solo), with 2.0 sacks, and an interception through 14 games played this season.

Landman (knee) is active Sunday against the Panthers.
EDGE Analysis
Landman returned to practice this week after not seeing the field since suffering the injury Week 13 against the Jets. The Colorado product's return to action should be a boost for the Falcons' linebacker corps Sunday.

Landman (knee) was a limited participant during practice Wednesday, Amna Subhan of the Falcons' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Landman hasn't taken the field since suffering the injury in Week 13, so his return to practice Wednesday, even while limited, is a step in the right direction. The Colorado product will work to ramp up his activity level Thursday and Friday but appears to be on the right track to play Sunday against the Panthers.

Landman (knee) has been ruled out ahead of Sunday's game against the Buccaneers.
EDGE Analysis
Landman exited the Falcons' Week 13 affair after suffering a knee injury, and he was unable to practice all week, so it's not surprising that he'll be inactive Sunday. With Landman missing Week 14, expect Andre Smith to start at inside linebacker alongside Kaden Elliss.

Landman (knee) did not participate in Wednesday's practice session, Amna Subhan of the Falcons' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Landman sustained a knee injury in Week 13 against the Jets. He was unable to return to the game and finished with five tackles (two solo) and a forced fumble. If Landman is unable to progress in his practice participation leading up to Week 14 against the Bucaneers, Andre Smith is the likely candidate to start at inside linebacker alongside Kaden Elliss.

Landman (thigh) has exited Sunday's game against the Jets, Terrin Waack of the Falcons' official site reports.
EDGE Analysis
Landman dealt with a thigh injury throughout the week, although he dropped the injury designation ahead of Sunday's game. Upon suffering the injury, the linebacker was unable to put pressure on his leg and had to be carried off the field, according to D. Orlando Ledbetter of The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
