Wentz (illness) may have a chance to play Sunday against the Raiders following changes to the NFL's return-to-play guidelines, Adam Schefter of ESPN reports.
EDGE Analysis
The NFL and NFLPA agreed to reduce the amount of time players that test positive for COVID-19 must quarantine from 10 to five days, which lines up with new guidelines from the CDC. Per Schefter, Wentz was among 39 players who returned a positive test Tuesday, but with this change if he's asymptomatic five days after such a test, the Colts can activate him from the reserve/COVID-19 list. There's no guarantee it'll come to pass, and coach Frank Reich will get Sam Ehlinger up to speed to earn his first NFL start in the event Wentz doesn't clear the amended protocols.

The Colts placed Wentz (undisclosed) on the reserve/COVID-19 list Tuesday.
EDGE Analysis
By all accounts, Wentz remains unvaccinated, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network. If the preceding is the case, Wentz won't be available Sunday for a key AFC matchup with the Raiders. Wentz would yield QB duties to backup Sam Ehlinger in the event the former can't play this weekend.

Wentz was 18-for-28 passing for 225 yards and two touchdowns and notched two carries for four yards during Saturday's 22-16 win in Arizona.
EDGE Analysis
Wentz isn't often asked to put up huge volume through the air in offense that rides running back Jonathan Taylor, who put up his ninth 100-yard performance in 15 games this season. Still, Wentz managed his ninth 200-yard outing through the air and ninth contest with multiple touchdowns. Everything seemed to come up 'nine' for the Colts on Saturday, as they reached 9-6 in the standings, too. Wentz' next chance to direct the Colts offense will arrive Sunday, Jan. 2 versus the Raiders.

Wentz completed five of 12 passes for 57 yards and a touchdown with an interception in Saturday's 27-17 win over the Patriots. He also gained 17 yards on eight carries.
EDGE Analysis
The evening could have been even worse for Wentz, as a couple of his incompletions could easily have become INTs, but the Colts were able to survive his shaky effort thanks to Jonathan Taylor and a special-teams score. It was by far the least productive full game of Wentz's career, and he'll likely need to do a lot more if the Colts are going to come up with a road win in Week 16 against the Cardinals.

Wentz completed 16 of 22 passes for 158 yards and a touchdown in Sunday's 31-0 win over the Texans.
EDGE Analysis
Wentz put together a decent performance in a game that saw the Colts dominate on the ground, racking up 238 rushing yards and three scores. The signal-caller still got involved in the scoring, though, throwing a two-yard touchdown to Ashton Dulin just before halftime. After having three turnovers last week, Wentz also protected the ball well Sunday, sending him into the bye week on a good note.

Wentz completed 27 of 44 passes for 306 yards with three touchdowns and two interceptions in the Colts' 38-31 loss to the Buccaneers on Sunday. He also rushed three times for 21 yards and lost a fumble.
EDGE Analysis
Fantasy managers don't really have too much to complain about regarding Wentz's performance outside of the turnovers, but the veteran quarterback undeniably got in the way of a team win with some of his miscues. All three of Wentz's turnovers occurred in the second half, with the fumble and first interception both leading to Buccaneers touchdowns and the second pick coming on the final play of the game at Tampa Bay's two-yard line. On a more positive note, Wentz was able to notch multiple touchdown throws for the first time since Week 9, and he still boasts an impressive 21:5 TD:INT for the campaign. The 28-year-old does get a golden opportunity for atonement in a Week 13 road divisional clash against the vulnerable Texans defense.

Wentz completed 11 of 20 passes for 106 yards with a touchdown and no interceptions in the Colts' 41-15 win over the Bills on Sunday. He also rushed twice for 18 yards and committed a fumble recovered by Indianapolis.
EDGE Analysis
With Jonathan Taylor accounting for 185 rushing yards and five total touchdowns, there was little need for Wentz to do much through the air. His one passing score actually went to Taylor in the second quarter, but the sixth-year veteran otherwise recorded just two completions apiece to the starting wideout duo of T.Y. Hilton and Michael Pittman. Wentz now has thrown for under 200 yards in three of the last five games, but a Week 12 interconference showdown with Tom Brady and the Buccaneers is likely going to require him to be much more involved.

Wentz completed 22 of 34 passes for 180 yards with no touchdowns or interceptions in the Colts' 23-17 win over the Jaguars on Sunday. He also netted minus-1 yard on four rushes.
EDGE Analysis
Jonathan Taylor logged over 20 carries for the first time all season, which helped lead to a reduced workload for Wentz and his fellow members of the air attack. The sixth-year signal-caller did remain free of turnovers for the second straight game, helping Indianapolis even its record at 5-5. Wentz' touchdown-less effort was his first since Week 3, something he'll look to quickly put behind him in a Week 11 road matchup against a very tough Bills defense.

Wentz (illness) doesn't have a designation for Sunday's contest against the Jaguars.
EDGE Analysis
Wentz was deemed a limited participant at Thursday's practice due to a non-COVID-19-related illness, but he was able to log every rep Friday and avoid an injury designation entirely for Week 10 action. He'll welcome back T.Y. Hilton (concussion) for the wide receiver's third appearance of the season as the Colts take on the Jaguars' 26th-ranked pass defense (272 yards allowed per game).

Wentz was a limited participant in Thursday's practice due to a non-COVID-19-related illness, Joel A. Erickson of The Indianapolis Star reports.
EDGE Analysis
Erickson notes that Wentz was on the field with his healthy teammates during the portion of practice that was open to the media, suggesting the Colts weren't overly concerned about him potentially infecting others. Indianapolis is seemingly hopeful that after a lighter slate of reps Thursday, Wentz will be ready to be a full participant Friday to clear up any lingering concern about his availability for Sunday's game against Jacksonville. After a bumpy outing in a Week 8 overtime loss to the Titans, Wentz bounced back effectively on short rest in a Week 9 win over the Jets last Thursday, completing 22 of 30 passes for 272 yards, three touchdowns and no turnovers as the Colts put up a season-high 45 points.
