Cozart will start at third base and bat leadoff Wednesday against the Rockies.
EDGE Analysis
Since the Angels are facing lefty Tyler Anderson in the series finale, it's fair to reason that Cozart may have replaced the right-handed-hitting Ian Kinsler as the Angels' new table setter. Though Cozart has hit .313 over his last eight games, he owns a .238 average and .293 on-base percentage for the campaign, so his promotion atop the lineup likely has more to do with Kinsler's season-long struggles than Cozart's recent success. Nonetheless, Cozart stands to benefit from the move now that he'll have the opportunity to regularly hit in front of Mike Trout and Justin Upton.

Cozart 2-for-4 with a double and a home run in Sunday's 8-2 win over Seattle.
EDGE Analysis
Cozart is batting just .237 this year, but that shouldn't come as a surprise after his .297 average last season was buoyed by a .312 BABIP (.279 career BABIP). He has, however, been as advertised in the power department with 14 extra-base hits through 29 games. That power should continue to play well while batting in the second third of a potent Angels lineup.

Cozart (back) is starting at third base and batting sixth for Saturday's game against the Mariners.
EDGE Analysis
Cozart was held out of the lineup each of the last two games and three of the last four as he battles a back injury, but returns to the hot corner Saturday. Little information was ever provided on the injury so the severity remains unclear, although his return to the lineup indicates it may have been a minor issue.

Cozart is battling a back injury and not in the lineup against Seattle on Friday, Jeff Fletcher of the Southern California News Group reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cozart will remain out of the lineup for a second straight game as Luis Valbuena gets another start at the hot corner. There hasn't been much information released on Cozart's status, so consider him day-to-day ahead of Saturday's affair.

Cozart is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
Cozart has started nine of the past 10 games, going just 5-for-31 with 11 strikeouts over that stretch, so he'll head to the bench to clear his head while Luis Valbuena picks up a start at the hot corner. Shohei Ohtani will enter the lineup as the DH with Valbuena occupying third base.

Cozart is out of the lineup Tuesday against the Orioles.
EDGE Analysis
Cozart has started the last eight games, going 5-for-28 (.179) with 10 strikeouts in that time. He'll get the night off, giving way to Luis Valbuena at third base.

Cozart went 1-for-4 with a solo home run in Saturday's 11-1 loss to the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
His fifth-inning homer, Cozart's third of the year and first since April 4, was too little too late in the rout. The 32-year-old has struggled so far in his first season outside of Cincinnati, slashing .228/.282/.406 through 25 games.

Cozart is not in the lineup against the Giants on Friday, Jeff Fletcher of the Southern California News Group reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cozart will retreat to the bench after starting the past three games. In his absence, Luis Valbuena will start at third base and bat fifth in the order. Over 18 games with his new club, Cozart is hitting .247/.298/.416 with two home runs and eight RBI.

Cozart is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against Kansas City, Jeff Fletcher of the Southern California News Group reports.
EDGE Analysis
Cozart will retreat to the bench for the first time all season as Ian Kinsler (groin) returns from the 10-day disabled list. It doesn't appear as though there's anything bothering Cozart, so consider this a standard day off for the 32-year-old with 12 games in the next 13 days on the schedule. Kinsler will slide in atop the order and man the keystone while Luis Valbuena is set to play third base and bat seventh.

Cozart went 2-for-5 with a run and an RBI batting out of the leadoff spot in an 8-3 win for the Angels over the Rangers on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Cozart is now slashing .265/.321/.490 with two home runs, three doubles and a triple through his first 49 at-bats with the Angels and it's certainly looking like last season's career-best campaign in Cincinnati wasn't a fluke. It's hard to say exactly where this offensive prowess came from for the veteran infielder considering he had never hit higher than .254 or slugged higher than .425 over a full season prior to last year's breakout, but fantasy owners certainly aren't questioning it.
