Darvish rebounded after surrendering a leadoff Ryan McMahon home run in the first inning to limit Colorado to only one more run over the next five frames, and fell in line for his fourth-best 16th win after San Diego plated three runs by the fifth. The 36-year-old fired 63 of 87 pitches for strikes with 17 of the swinging variety and has now won six straight starts, pitching to a 1.80 ERA with 44 strikeouts in 40 innings during the stretch. Darvish carries a 3.05 ERA and fourth-best 0.93 WHIP into his next start, currently scheduled for next weekend against the White Sox.

Darvish (15-7) earned the win over the Diamondbacks on Sunday. He allowed a hit and a walk while striking out eight over six scoreless innings.

The 36-year-old has now posted seven shutout innings while allowing minimal baserunners in two of his last three turns, though he's permitted at least three runs in the other four of his last six starts. Darvish (12-7) earned the win Friday, allowing two hits and two walks over seven scoreless innings against the Dodgers. He struck out nine.

The right-hander drew the assignment against the top scoring offense in all of baseball and emerged with his first win in four tries against the Dodgers this season. Darvish has been remarkably consistent both in terms of performance and workload, going at least six innings in each of his last 18 starts and posting a 2.84 ERA, 0.91 WHIP and 130:20 K:BB in that stretch.

Darvish (11-7) earned the win against the Royals on Saturday, allowing three runs on five hits while striking out six and walking two over seven innings.
