According to Mandy Bell, Cleveland Indians catcher Wilson Ramos tore his ACL and sprained his MCL in yesterday's 7-5 win over the Boston Red Sox. Wilson Ramos Homers Monday rotoballer.com Tue 8/10/21 8:10 AM

Cleveland Indians catcher Wilson Ramos went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run and a walk in Monday's 9-3 win over the Cincinnati Reds. This marks the second time in two starts that Ramos has gone yard for the Tribe. Fantasy managers that need help at catcher would be wise to monitor Ramos's time behind the plate to see if the Indians begin to favor him over the next week or two. If so, he could provide some solid pop from a weaker position in the fantasy playoffs.

Cleveland Indians catcher Wilson Ramos will be behind the plate and bat seventh tonight against Luis Castillo and the Cincinnati Reds at Progressive Field. This marks the second time Ramos will suit up for the Indians as he went 3-for-4 with a home run in Saturday's 2-1 loss to the Detroit Tigers. Ramos is only recommended as a value play tonight in DFS against Castillo as he is just 1-for-6 with three strikeouts in his career vs. him and Castillo has been terrific by allowing one earned run ...

Wilson Ramos Designated For Assignment On Tuesday rotoballer.com Tue 6/15/21 6:49 PM

Detroit Tigers catcher Wilson Ramos was designated for assignment on Tuesday, according to Cody Stavenhagen of The Athletic. Ramos got off to a nice start with Detroit in April, slashing .224/.258/.482 with six homers, nine RBI and nine runs scored over 25 games. But a stint on the injured list cost Ramos time, and after slashing .143/.189/.171 over 10 games in May, he got passed up on the depth chart by Jake Rogers and Eric Haase. Depending on where he lands, Ramos could still have some ...

The team activated pitcher Derek Holland (shoulder) from the injured list in a corresponding move. This is Ramos' second trip to the injured list this month, both due to the same injury. He was activated from his last stint on May 17, but struggled over the past week, managing just two hits over 23 at-bats. Jake Rogers and Eric Haase will split catching duties while Ramos is ...

Wilson Ramos Activated On Monday rotoballer.com Mon 5/17/21 6:45 PM

Detroit Tigers catcher Wilson Ramos (back) has been activated off the 10-day injured list. The veteran catcher missed the minimum 10 days while dealing with a minor back issue. He hasn't brought much to the plate lately outside of his six home runs this season. It wouldn't be surprising to see Jake Rogers head back to the minors with Ramos returning. Ramos is worth using in two-catcher leagues, but it's difficult to imagine him holding enough value to warrant rostering in most fantasy formats.

In deep-mixed and AL-only leagues, Ramos is worth rostering for that power he's ...
