An MRI on Tulowitzki's strained right hamstring revealed no surprises, Sportsnet.ca reports.
EDGE Analysis
While the Blue Jays have not offered up an estimated timetable for Tulowitzki's return to action, one should start to take shape as he begins ramping up his baseball activities. Tulowitzki hit the 10-day DL on Saturday, meaning May 2 would be his earliest possible return date. The 32-year-old is batting .263/.295/.386 with one home run and 10 RBI through 16 games this season.

Tulowitzki (hamstring) was placed on the DL on Saturday, Mike Wilner of Sportsnet reports.
EDGE Analysis
At this point in time, the Blue Jays don't believe that Tulowitzki's injury is very severe. However, injuries have been an issue for Tulowitzki in recent seasons and he hasn't played more than 131 games since 2011. Until he's ready to return, look for Darwin Barney and Ryan Goins to split time at shortstop.

Tulowitzki (hamstring) is out of the lineup Saturday against the Angels, Blue Jays radio broadcaster Mike Wilner reports.
EDGE Analysis
Wilner goes on to note that Tulowitzki is absent entirely from the lineup card, which would suggest Tulowitzki is going on the DL. The Blue Jays have yet to formally announce any DL moves. Tulowitzki left Friday's game with what the team called right hamstring tightness.

Tulowitzki is out of Thursday's lineup against the Red Sox, Sportsnet's Ben Nicholson-Smith reports.
EDGE Analysis
He has started every game at shortstop for the Blue Jays so far this season, and boasts a six-game hitting streak. Tulowitzki is hitting .375 over the span of that streak. Ryan Goins will start at shortstop and hit ninth in his stead.

Tulowitzki went 2-for-3 with two doubles and three RBI in Tuesday's 4-3 loss to Milwaukee.
EDGE Analysis
The Jays didn't get a lot going on offense in this one, mostly because none of the bats that followed Tulo (their cleanup hitter in this one, though he typically bats fifth) in the order managed a single hit. Despite hitting just .185 over 27 at-bats in the early going, the veteran shortstop has racked up nine RBI already, and his position in Toronto's top-heavy lineup should mean he keeps seeing opportunities to drive runners home.

Tulowitzki went 2-for-4 with a solo home run, four RBI and drew a walk in Friday's slugfest against Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
It took three games and 13 at-bats before Tulowitzki finally helped his fantasy owners. His two-run double in the top of the first marked the veteran's first hit of the season. As was the case Friday, hitting fifth in the order should provide many RBI opportunities throughout the season.

Tulowitzki went 11-for-38 (.289) with a home run, four RBI and four runs over 16 Grapefruit League games.
EDGE Analysis
After beginning the exhibition season 0-for-11, the veteran hit safely in nine of his next 12 games while posting a .407 batting average during that stretch. Ultimately, the only thing that matters about Tulowitzki's spring is the fact that he's leaving in good health. The Jays' lineup will look a bit different this year without Edwin Encarnacion, but Tulowitzki is expected to remain in the middle of the order as he did last season.

Tulowitzki went 0-for-2 with a strikeout in his spring debut Sunday versus Tampa Bay.
EDGE Analysis
As planned, Tulowitzki sat out the first week of Grapefruit League games before joining the fray in the Jays' ninth game of the spring. After an off-day on Monday, Tulowitzki expects to be back in the lineup on Tuesday against Team Canada in a Classic exhibition. As far as the regular season is concerned, the five-time All Star is confident he will be ready on cue.

Tulowitzki is expected to make his Grapefruit League debut Sunday, Blue Jays play-by-play announcer Mike Wilner reports.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran, who has a long history of health woes, is taking it easy early on to preserve him for Opening Day. It's easy to be conservative with him in fantasy leagues, too, but Tulo launched 24 homers last year, logging at least 500 plate appearances for the third time in four years. Bringing the 32-year-old aboard in the middle rounds of mixed leagues could be a fine power boon.

Tulowitzki will get some rest and sit out the first week of Grapefruit League games, Mike Nabors of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
On Wednesday, Jays' manager John Gibbons confirmed the decision to delay Tulowitzki's spring start to keep the 11-year veteran from being overworked early in the campaign. It's no secret that the five-time All-Star shortstop has an extensive history of injuries and DL stints, so easing Tulowitzki's workload this spring makes perfect sense. With the extended Grapefruit League schedule this year (due to the World Baseball Classic), Tulowitzki should still see plenty of at-bats to be running on all cylinders by Opening Day.
