Milone is slated to work behind opening pitcher Justin Dunn in Wednesday's game against the Pirates, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Milone hasn't been deployed as a traditional starter since Aug. 31, and that seems unlikely to change in either of his two or three scheduled turns through the rotation before the season ends. Expect Dunn to cover no more than two or three frames before giving way to Milone, who is 2-6 with a 6.13 ERA and 1.27 WHIP in 54.1 innings since the All-Star break.

Milone allowed two earned runs on three hits over 4.2 innings in a loss to the Reds on Thursday, not issuing any walks and recording five strikeouts. He did not factor into the decision.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran left-hander was slated to come in directly behind opener Justin Dunn, but the rookie's control problems earned him the hook after 37 pitches, five walks and just two batters retired in the first inning. After right-hander Zac Grotz served as a bridge to the third, Milone came in for his solid 63-pitch outing that saw him generate his second straight five-strikeout tally. Milone is expected to serve as the primary pitcher behind Dunn in the rookie's remaining appearances this season.

Milone will work as the primary pitcher in Thursday's game against the Reds, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Prospect Justin Dunn will make his big-league debut as the starter but is only expected to pitch a couple innings. This piggyback setup between Dunn and Milone could continue through the end of the regular season.

Milone (3-9) took the loss Friday, giving up four runs (three earned) on three hits and a walk over four-plus innings of relief while striking out five as the Mariners were downed 7-4 by the Astros.
EDGE Analysis
Seattle was already down 3-2 when Milone took over in the second inning, but after the Mariners tied it up in the top of the fourth he proceeded to dig the hole a lot deeper. The veteran southpaw will carry a 4.98 ERA and 85:20 K:BB through 97.2 innings into his next outing.

Milone will serve as a primary pitcher following an opener Friday, the Associated Press reports.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran southpaw has pitched a total of 62.2 innings in relief this season, generating a 5.03 ERA, .254 BAA and 1.15 WHIP. Milone will be working on normal rest, as he most recently appeared Saturday against the Rangers and threw 81 pitches over five innings.

Milone didn't factor into the decision in Saturday's 3-2 loss to the Rangers, giving up one run on three hits and a walk over five innings while striking out four.
EDGE Analysis
The southpaw threw 54 of 81 pitches for strikes and was in line for his fourth win of the year after the Mariners took a 2-1 lead in the top of the sixth inning while he was still the pitcher of record, but Matt Magill blew the save in the ninth. Milone will carry a 4.90 ERA and 80:19 K:BB through 93.2 innings into his next outing -- whether as a starter or primary pitcher behind an opener -- Friday in Houston.

Milone (3-8) took the loss as the primary pitcher against the Yankees on Monday, giving up five earned runs on eight hits over five innings, striking out one and walking two as the Mariners fell 5-4.
EDGE Analysis
Following up opener Matt Wisler, Milone posted a dud stat line in this contest, as he gave up a home run to Gleyber Torres on the first pitch he threw and yielded two more long balls to Mike Ford before exiting the contest after five innings and 79 pitches. The 32-year-old has now given up 16 earned runs over his last four appearances, leaving him with an uninspiring 5.08 ERA and 1.20 WHIP in 18 games for the season.

Milone (3-7) allowed four earned runs on six hits and a walk while striking out four across five innings to earn the win Tuesday against the Rays.
EDGE Analysis
Milone's line isn't particularly impressive, though he got a bit unlucky in his first inning of work as he allowed three consecutive base knocks -- one was an infield single -- to account for two of his earned runs. Other indicators suggest Milone deserved better than his line, as he held his opponent without a homer for just the fourth time in his last 11 outings and surrendered just one free pass. Milone has settled into a role working as a primary pitcher, generally entering the game in the second inning and working four to five innings per appearances. For the season, he owns a 4.84 ERA and 1.15 WHIP with 75 strikeouts across 83.2 innings. He should slot in to work as the primary pitcher again Monday against the Yankees.

Milone will serve as the primary pitcher Tuesday against the Rays, Greg Johns of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Milone is set to follow Matt Wisler, who's expected to toss an inning or so as the team's opener. Milone picked up the victory in his last appearance, surrendering two runs while fanning three over four innings Thursday against Detroit.

Milone (2-7) allowed two runs on six hits with no walks and three strikeouts across four innings of relief while recording the win over the Tigers on Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
It was a bullpen day for the Mariners, as they started Matt Wisler as an opener. No Seattle pitcher threw more than an inning other than Milone, so he earned the victory despite yielding a pair of runs. To go with two wins, he has a 4.69 ERA, 1.13 WHIP and 71 strikeouts in 78.2 innings over 16 appearances, which includes five starts this season.
