Milone was credited with the save Saturday against the Angels, pitching three scoreless innings and yielding only one hit. He struck out six and did not walk a batter.
EDGE Analysis
Saves don't come much easier than this -- Milone entered the contest staked to a 14-1 lead and had no stress in finishing off the final three frames of the lopsided win. Still, it was an impressive outing for the veteran as he allowed only a harmless single and struck out six. Milone isn't likely to see many more save chances going forward, but he could carve out an important bullpen role after functioning exclusively as a starter last season.

The Blue Jays selected Milone's contract ahead of Sunday's game against the Yankees.
EDGE Analysis
Though Milone was unable to secure a spot on the Blue Jays' Opening Day roster after attending camp on a minor-league deal, he had to wait only a few days to receive his first call-up of 2021. He'll provide Toronto with a lefty option out of the bullpen who's capable of eating innings. The Blue Jays transferred Kirby Yates (elbow) to the 60-day injured list to clear room on the 40-man roster for Milone.

Milone signed a minor-league contract with the Blue Jays on Thursday that includes an invite to spring training.
EDGE Analysis
Milone made nine starts with Baltimore and Atlanta last season but struggled with a 6.69 ERA and 1.56 WHIP over 39 innings. He missed the final several weeks of the regular season due to left elbow inflammation and was let go by Atlanta at the end of September. Assuming he's fully healthy this spring, Milone should compete for a major-league roster spot with his new club.

The Braves released Milone (elbow) on Wednesday.
EDGE Analysis
The transaction opened up a spot on the 40-man roster for infielder Charlie Culberson, whose contract was selected ahead of the Braves' wild-card series opener Wednesday with the Reds. After being acquired from the Orioles on Aug. 30, Milone made only three starts for the Braves, posting a 14.90 ERA and 2.48 WHIP across 9.2 innings before he was shut down Sept. 10 with left elbow inflammation. Milone should be back to full health for the start of spring training in 2021.

Milone was placed on the 10-day injured list Thursday with left elbow inflammation.
EDGE Analysis
If this is anything other than very minor inflammation, Milone's season is probably over. He gave up eight earned runs in 3.1 innings in his last start. Huascar Ynoa was recalled in a corresponding move. With Cole Hamels and Max Fried expected back next week, the Braves won't necessarily need to find another replacement option for the rotation.

Milone allowed eight runs on eight hits (two home runs) and two walks while striking out four across 3.1 innings in Wednesday's 29-9 win over the Marlins. He didn't factor into the decision in the Braves' victory.
EDGE Analysis
Milone was lucky to escape with a no-decision due to his offense putting up an NL-record run total. The southpaw threw a clean first frame before allowing two runs in the second, three in the third, and then three more in the fourth after Grant Dayton couldn't hold the runners he inherited from Milone. Since being shipped to the Braves on Aug. 30, Milone has a 14.90 ERA to go along with a 2.48 WHIP in three starts.

Milone didn't factor into the decision in the first game of Friday's doubleheader against the Nationals, allowing one run on six hits over four innings. He struck out three.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran southpaw threw 43 of 65 pitches before exiting, and while the Nats had runners in scoring position in three of Milone's four frames, he was able to limit the damage. He pitched well enough to remain in Atlanta's rotation for now, and his next turn is scheduled for Wednesday, at home against the Marlins.

Milone gave up seven runs on eight hits and struck out two over 2.1 innings in a no-decision versus the Phillies on Sunday.
EDGE Analysis
Milone, who was traded from the Orioles to the Braves earlier Sunday, struggled in his debut with his new team. Didi Gregorius and Rhys Hoskins clubbed homers off the southpaw before he was relieved by Luke Jackson. Milone now has a 5.68 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 33 strikeouts in 31.2 innings across seven starts. Perhaps without a whirlwind of events, Milone will perform better in his next start, currently expected to be during next weekend's series versus the Nationals.

Milone arrived in Philadelphia and will start Sunday night's game against the Phillies, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 33-year-old was acquired from the Orioles in the morning, and he'll start on regular rest Sunday night after meeting the team in Philadelphia. Milone had a 3.99 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 31:4 K:BB over 29.1 innings for the Orioles and should be a significant piece in the Braves' depleted rotation.

The Braves acquired Milone in a trade with the Orioles on Sunday, Mark Bowman of MLB.com reports. In exchange, the Orioles will receive two minor-league players to be named later, according to Joel Sherman of the New York Post.
EDGE Analysis
Due to injuries and ineffectiveness from many of its other starting candidates, Atlanta has only one member of its Opening Day rotation (Max Fried) left standing. The addition of Milone thus provides the Braves with some important rotation depth, as the lefty has been a capable innings eater for the Orioles this season. Over his six starts, Milone has posted a 3.99 ERA, 1.26 WHIP and 31:4 K:BB in 29.1 innings. He was initially lined up to start Monday for the Orioles, but Milone will presumably head to Boston to join the Braves for the conclusion of the team's road trip this week. Since he'll have to clear all COVID-19-related intake protocols before joining the Braves for workouts, Milone may not be ready to make his team debut for a few days.
