After an exceptional start to his 2014 campaign, the veteran has struggled down the stretch. In five September starts, Hudson is 0-4 with an 8.72 ERA, leaving his status unknown as the Giants re-position their staff for a potential Division Series if Madison Bumgarner wins the one-game playoff versus Pittsburgh.
