Romo suffered an injury to his left leg while trying to cover first base in the ninth inning and was removed from the game, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Romo remained in the game briefly, but was ultimately forced out of the contest due to the pain. While there's no official word on the severity, if Romo is forced to miss time the Marlins could rely on a number of options to close out games. The most likely options appear to be Adam Conley and Nick Anderson.

Romo picked up the save after allowing one hit and striking out one in a scoreless ninth inning Friday night against the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
Romo recorded the first two outs without issue, though he would allow the winning run to come to the plate after surrendering a single to left. He would then slam the door by inducing a flyout. It hasn't always been easy for Romo this season, but he's converted on each of his last two save opportunities and continues to see chances late in close ballgames. He now owns a 4.76 ERA with 23 strikeouts over 28.1 games this season.

Romo allowed one run on two hits over one inning and picked up the save Thursday night against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Romo entered the ballgame with a two-run lead, and after surrendering an RBI double to Yadier Molina, the right-hander managed to pick off the runner at second base for the third out of the inning. Romo sits with a 4.94 ERA and 1.35 WHIP with a 22:13 K:BB over 27.1 innings this season, but he's been fairly reliable when it's come to slamming the door. He's blown just one save chance this season against Detroit on May 21.

Romo allowed one hit but still recorded his 12th save pitching the ninth inning in a 4-3 victory over the Pirates on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
With the Marlins, he doesn't get many save opportunities, and Romo owns a 5.25 ERA, but opponents are mostly scoring against him in non-save situations. Romo is 12-for-13 in the save opportunities he's received. He also owns a 1.42 WHIP and 21 strikeouts in 24 innings this season.

Romo gave up a run on two hits and a walk while striking out two in the ninth inning of Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Giants to record his 11th save of the season.
EDGE Analysis
It wasn't pretty, but the Marlins gave the veteran reliever enough of a cushion to survive an erratic outing. Romo now has a 4.50 ERA and 21:11 K:BB through 20 innings, numbers which put him firmly in the second tier of fantasy closers, but he's come through when it mattered, converting 11 of his 12 save chances so far.

Romo tossed a perfect ninth inning to earn the save against Washington on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
The 36-year-old was called on to protect a one-run lead and forced three straight flyouts to close things out. He's now made three straight scoreless appearances, lowering his ERA to 4.26 and earning a save in each of those outings.

Romo got the save against the Tigers on Thursday, striking out one without allowing a baserunner in a scoreless ninth inning to lock down a 5-2 victory for the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Romo successfully protected the three-run lead afforded to him by a ninth-inning grand slam from Garrett Cooper, picking up his ninth save in 10 opportunities. His 4.50 ERA and 1.39 WHIP remain unspectacular, but Romo seems set to keep acting as the top option at closer for the Marlins when opportunities arise.

Romo struck out one in a perfect ninth inning Wednesday to record his eighth save of the season in a 6-3 win over the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
One night after blowing his first save of the season, the veteran reliever bounced back in fine fashion. Romo's 4.76 ERA and 18:10 K:BB through 17 innings are far from elite, but until he gets traded into a setup role for a contender or the Marlins decide to give some of their younger arms a look with the game on the line, he figures to continue picking up saves for a team that rarely blows out the opposition.

Romo allowed two runs (none earned) on two hits and a walk while striking out one to blow the save chance Tuesday against the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
The final line doesn't look good for Romo, but he wasn't hit hard on the way to blowing his first save of the season. Though he allowed three baserunners, one reached base on an intentional walk with another on an infield single. Furthermore, an error by Starlin Castro made Romo's job more difficult and ultimately played a large role in the blown save chance. To this point in the season, Romo has served as the team's primary closer and has seven saves in eight chances.
