Washington Nationals first baseman Ryan Zimmerman (foot) has been placed on the 10-day injured list. Zimmerman is dealing with plantar fasciitis in his right foot. This is the same injury that sidelined him earlier in the season. Matt Adams is expected to fill in at first base while Zimmerman is sidelined. Adams is batting fifth and playing first base versus righty Peter Lambert on Monday. Adams has 15 home runs this season, so he's a nice power bat to have on fantasy teams lacking homers.
