Jackson signed a minor-league contract with the Nationals on Monday, MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson has bounced around a lot already in 2017, having spent time in the Marlins and Mariners organizations along with a stint in independent ball with the Sugar Land Skeeters. The Nationals present an intriguing landing spot for the well-traveled infielder with Trea Turner (wrist) set to miss extended time at the big-league level, but unless further injuries strike the Washington infield, he'll function as little more than organizational depth.

Jackson was released from Triple-A Tacoma on Thursday, Rainiers broadcaster Mike Curto reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 29-year-old second baseman had slashed a pedestrian .222/.300/.267 over 50 plate appearances in 14 games with the Rainiers. Jackson's extensive minor-league career dates back to 2010, with the extent of his major-league experience limited to 22 games across three combined stints with the Cardinals and Angels.

Jackson signed a minor league deal with the Marlins that includes an invitation to spring training, Joe Frisaro of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson has spent the vast majority of his career in the minor leagues. He split his most recent campaign between the Angels' and Phillies' Triple-A affiliates, where he batted .248/.350/.286 in 343 plate appearances. He doesn't figure to make much of an impact with the Marlins.

The Angels acquired Jackson from the Phillies on Friday, Bill Shaikin of the LA Times reports.
EDGE Analysis
The Angels were in need of shortstop depth in the minors with Gregorio Petit seeing regular action with the big club and two other shortstops -- Andrelton Simmons and Cliff Pennington -- on the disabled list, so they decided to pick up Jackson in exchange for cash. Jackson has 42 MLB games under his belt, but he will report to Triple-A Salt Lake and will likely need another injury to occur to see action with the Angels at any point soon.

The Phillies assigned Jackson to minor league camp Tuesday, Jim Salisbury of CSN Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson hit .265 (9-for-34) with one home run in 17 games this spring. He'll give the Phillies some infield depth at Triple-A Lehigh Valley.

Jackson signed a minor league deal with the Phillies on Wednesday, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson briefly spent some time with the Angels this season, failing to record a hit in 14 plate appearances. He did slash a decent .295/.372/.378 line with the Royals' and Angels' Triple-A affiliates last season, so it's possible Jackson could work his way onto the major league roster with a decent showing during spring training, but he probably won't present much fantasy value until he earns more playing time.

Jackson elected free agency Monday after clearing outright waivers.
EDGE Analysis
Jackson spent the majority of the season in Triple-A, slashing a respectable .295/.372/.378 with both the Royals and Angels affiliates. The 27-year-old second basemen has yet to have an extended stay in the majors, but it's possible he could work his way into a utility role with a strong spring wherever he lands.

Jackson was sent to the Angels in exchange for Drew Butera on Thursday. The Angels are dealing with some minor league depth issues at shortstop so this fills an organizational need. Jackson is not much of a prospect, which was made clear by the Royals preferring Christian Colon to him on the big league roster this season.

Jackson was assigned to Triple-A Omaha on Sunday, MLB.com reports. Jackson was ultimately deemed expendable, as the Royals will stick to Christian Colon and Kendrys Morales as their only reserve infield options for Opening Day. Jackson was 13-for-39 at this dish this spring, but was fanned in 12 of those at-bats.

Jackson (wrist) was outrighted to Triple-A Omaha on Friday. Jackson was designated for assignment by the Royals to clear room for the newly-signed Edinson Volquez. The infielder was sidelined for nearly the entirety of the 2014 campaign due to the wrist injury.
