Braun (back) will bat third as the designated hitter Saturday against the Royals.
EDGE Analysis
Braun left Friday's game with back spasms, but the issue was evidently a minor one. He's ready to return without missing a single start and will look to build on his excellent .406/.444/.906 slash line this month.

Manager Craig Counsell said Friday that Braun is dealing with back spasms, Todd Rosiak of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel reports.
EDGE Analysis
Braun was removed from Friday's game in the bottom of the fourth inning after hitting a single. The 36-year-old dealt with a similar issue in late August and early September. Counsell said that the team should know more about the severity of the issue Saturday. Ben Gamel also left the game with a quad injury, so it's unclear who could take over in right field if they miss time.

Braun exited Friday's game against the Royals with low back tightness, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Braun hit a single in the bottom of the fourth inning but was replaced by pinch-runner Ben Gamel due to his injury. The severity of the issue is unclear. If Braun is forced to miss any additional time, Gamel could take his place in right field.

Braun went 2-for-3 with a three-run home run in a 6-0 win over the Brewers in the second game of Wednesday's doubleheader.
EDGE Analysis
Braun didn't start the first game Wednesday, but he packed a punch in the nightcap. Cardinals starter Johan Oviedo allowed the first two batters to reach in the first inning, and Braun made him pay with the homer. The 36-year-old Braun has homered four times in his last six games. He's slashing .240/.295/.521 with six long balls, 22 RBI, 10 runs scored and a stolen base in 29 contests this season.

Braun is not in the lineup for the first half of Wednesday's doubleheader against the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
It's no surprise to see that an oft-injured veteran like Braun won't be tasked with starting twice in one day. Ben Gamel starts in right field for the first game of the day, but Braun will likely return to the lineup for the nightcap.

Braun went 1-for-2 with a walk, two RBI and two runs scored in Tuesday's 18-3 win over the Cardinals.
EDGE Analysis
Fantasy managers watched Ben Gamel pinch run and poach a third run scored from Braun's total. Regardless, Braun is hitting a healthy 7-for-21 over his last seven games and has homered in three of his past six contests.

Braun is not in the lineup Sunday against the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Braun is responsible for all three of Milwaukee's runs through the first two games of the series with a sacrifice fly Friday and a two-run homer Saturday, but he'll head to the bench for the series finale. Ben Gamel will take over in right field Sunday for the Brewers.

Braun went 1-for-3 with a two-run home run Saturday in the Brewers' 4-2 loss to the Cubs.
EDGE Analysis
Braun was responsible for the Brewers' only runs of the day, taking Chicago starter Kyle Hendricks deep to center field for a two-run home run in the fourth inning. The 36-year-old has provided two of his four long balls on the season over his past three starts, raising his OPS to .727 in the process. That figure is still the lowest of Braun's 14-year career and represents a downturn of more than 100 points from 2019 (.848).

Braun went 0-3 with the game-winning RBI in the Brewers' 1-0 victory over the Cubs on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
In a game where the Brewers only recorded four hits, Braun drove in the game-winning run during a showdown between Brandon Woodruff and Jon Lester. Braun is slashing .300/.358/.550 through his past seven games.

Braun went 3-for-5 with a home run, two runs, three RBI and a walk during Wednesday's 19-0 win over the Tigers.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran slugger has been unavailable for much of the past couple weeks while dealing with back issues, so it's a good sign he remained in for the entirety of Wednesday's contest despite the lopsided score. Braun has a .231/.286/.436 slash line with three home runs, five doubles and 13 RBI in 23 games.
