Weeks (ankle) is out of the lineup again Monday against the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Weeks sprained his ankle in Saturday's matchup with the Padres, and Monday will mark his second consecutive absence. However, with the Diamondbacks facing a right-hander in Mike Foltynewicz, it's unlikely Weeks would have been in the lineup anyway. Still, the infielder should be considered day-to-day until further notice.

Weeks will get the start in left field Sunday against the Brewers.
EDGE Analysis
After riding the pine for the first two games of the series, Weeks will get an opportunity to face off against the organization he came up with. Things haven't been pretty for Weeks of late, however, as he owns a .619 OPS since June 27, and has just one extra-base hit -- a July 5 home run -- over that span.

Weeks is not in the lineup for Wednesday's game against the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
Weeks is hitting .243/.313/.456 with five home runs and 13 RBI on the season but will take the night off in favor of Brandon Drury who is currently riding a three-game hit streak.

Weeks hit a three-run homer in a 1-for-4 game in Tuesday's win over San Diego.
EDGE Analysis
Weeks's ability to hammer left-handed pitching is why the Diamondbacks have kept him around, and he touched up Padres lefty Christian Friedrich for a 445-foot blast in the fourth inning Tuesday. Weeks entered Tuesday with a .957 OPS against left-handed pitching and just a .647 mark against righties, as he pretty much only contributes value on days when a southpaw starts for Arizona's opponent.

Weeks was reinstated from the bereavement list prior to Sunday's game against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Weeks will take the roster spot of Zack Greinke, who was placed on the DL on Sunday due to a left oblique strain. Even though he's active, Weeks will not get the starting nod against right-hander Albert Suarez, as manager Chip Hale will instead start Brandon Drury in left field.

Weeks was placed on the bereavement list Thursday.
EDGE Analysis
The Diamondbacks will wait until Friday to make a corresponding move, but Weeks' placement on the bereavement list means that he'll miss a minimum of three games and a maximum of seven games. Weeks had primarily been playing against left-handed pitching, so this could result in Peter O'Brien seeing slightly more playing time when the Diamondbacks face southpaws.

Weeks is out of the lineup Tuesday against Philadelphia.
EDGE Analysis
Weeks, who seems to be settling into a platoon-role in left field, is getting the night off in favor of fellow outfielder Peter O'Brien. He's made eight starts in the past 18 D-Backs games, slashing .281/.343/.531 with three runs and RBI apiece during that time.

Weeks went 2-for-4 with his fourth home run of the season in Wednesday's loss to the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
The home run came in the second inning against Clayton Kershaw. If anyone can claim to have figured out the Dodgers ace, it might be Weeks. For his career, he's now 7-for-20 (.350 average) against Kershaw, and six of the hits have been for extra bases (five doubles and one home run).
