EDGE Analysis
Milwaukee jumped on Hill early, plating three runs in the first inning. He gave up just one more over the next four frames but walked a season-high six batters. It was the first time he walked more than three in a start, and he failed to complete six innings for the first time since May 23. Hill's ERA is up to 4.31 with a 73:28 K:BB through 14 starts. He's currently lined up for a home matchup with the Cubs next week.

EDGE Analysis
Hill was dominant throughout the evening, throwing 72 of his season-high 119 pitches for strikes and inducing 11 swinging strikes. The veteran southpaw did not allow a runner past first base after the third inning. Hill has looked great over his last two starts, tossing 13.2 innings while allowing just three runs and striking out 12. The 43-year-old will be looking for his third consecutive quality start next week on the road against the Cubs.

EDGE Analysis
Hill had given up 11 earned runs over his past two starts, so his quality start Sunday was definitely a step in the right direction. Aside from a few blowup outings, the veteran left-hander has been solid to start his age-43 season and sports a 4.41 ERA, 1.38 WHIP and 61:21 K:BB over 12 starts (65.1 innings). Hill will look to make it back-to-back quality starts next time out, which is tentatively scheduled during a three-game weekend set versus the Mets.

Hill (4-5) allowed six runs on nine hits and a walk over six innings Monday, striking out three and taking a loss against the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
Hill was cursed by a disastrous second inning in which he gave up five runs. He allowed a home run for the first time since May 5 and saw his ERA jump to 4.76 through 58.2 frames. Hill has been charged with at least four runs in three of his last five starts, including 11 total runs in his last two appearances. He's currently lined up for a weekend start at home against the Cardinals.

EDGE Analysis
Hill settled down after allowing two runs in the first inning, blanking the Rangers over his next four frames. However, he'd unravel in the sixth, allowing three more runs on three hits and a walk. Overall, Hill's been solid in his age-43 season. He's tallied seven or more strikeouts in five of his 10 starts this year, sporting a 4.27 ERA with a 1.39 WHIP through 52.2 innings.

The 43-year-old southpaw allowed more than three runs for only the second time in seven starts, but he continues to live dangerously as he served up his eighth homer in only 37.2 innings on the season. EDGE Analysis
Hill was initially tabbed to start Friday before that contest was postponed due to rain. The 43-year-old wasn't fazed by the adjustment, as he logged a season-high 6.1 innings and tossed an efficient 75 of 103 pitches for a strike. Hill induced 13 whiffs in the outing and didn't walk any batters for just the second time this season. He appears to have located the Fountain of Youth, as he's been very good over his past four starts, allowing just five earned runs and posting a 19:7 K:BB over 23.1 frames.
