Raul Ibanez hit two home runs and drove in six runs as the Mariners beat the Yankees 12-2 on Wednesday. Ibanez broke the game open with a grand slam in the first inning and added a two-run homer in the fifth. The outfielder now has four home runs in four games after hitting just two in his first 19 games. His platoon situation in Seattle and his decreased production doesn't make him an option outside of AL-only leagues, though.

Ibanez, who hit .240/.308/.453 with 19 homers and 62 RBI for the Yankees in 2012, is likely to serve as the M's starting left fielder against right-handed pitching and a part-time DH. This will be his third tour of duty with Seattle, where he played from 1996-2000 and again from 2004-2008. He was originally drafted by the M's.
