Raul Ibanez hit his 23rd and 24th homers and even mixed in a double Friday as the Mariners bested the Angels 8-3. Ibanez is just the third player to hit 24 or more homers at age 41 or above. Ted Williams hit 29 at 41, while Barry Bonds hit 26 at 41 and 28 at 42. Ibanez could blow by those marks before the month is out with the way he's going. He now has 16 homers at Safeco this season.

Raul Ibanez went 4-for-5 with a homer and three RBI Thursday against the Rangers. That's seven homers in 10 games for Ibanez and 21 overall. That's tied for the fifth highest total of his career, and on a per-AB basis, he's way ahead of his career-best pace. He even has his average up to .257 now; it's the first time all season that his average has topped .250.

Raul Ibanez launched his 18th home run of the season Wednesday in the Mariners' loss to the Pirates. Ibanez is now on pace for 37 home runs, which would be rare territory for a 41-year-old. He has a weak .243 batting average and .289 on-base percentage, but the power outbursts have made him plenty valuable in fantasy leagues.

Raul Ibanez went 2-for-5 with a homer and three RBI. It was the 41-year-old's 15th home run of the season after he slugged 19 last year. He's now batting .235/.278/.495 and remains an all-or-nothing plodding slugger who can help AL-only owners.

Raul Ibanez hit a solo homer Monday in the win over the Astros. It was the 41-year-old's only hit in four at-bats. Ibanez has morphed into an all-or-nothing threat in his old age, collecting 12 homers in just 160 at-bats. His .500 slugging percentage is stellar, but his average and OBP (.227 and .271, respectively), are Protozoa small. Ibanez has collected 19 extra-base hits in 2013 and just 17 singles.

Raul Ibanez had a two-run homer and a two-run double Tuesday in the win over the White Sox. The Mariners are hitting, but it's probably not the best thing for the franchise's future that Ibanez, Jason Bay and free-agent-to-be Kendrys Morales are leading the charge. Ibanez has 11 homers in just 136 at-bats this year. He has more extra-base hits (18) than singles (14).

Raul Ibanez belted a two-run homer in Monday's win over the White Sox. Making a rare start against a left-hander, Ibanez took John Danks deep in the third inning, which put the Mariners ahead for good. The veteran has given the M's about all they could have hoped for this season, as he's batting .227 but with 10 dingers and 26 RBI.

Raul Ibanez's recent power surge continued Saturday, as he launched a solo homer in a loss to the Indians. Ibanez had two home runs through his first 19 games this season, but he now has six over his last seven. The 40-year-old shouldn't be owned in shallow mixed leagues, but he might be worth a try in deeper formats while he's hot.

Raul Ibanez remained red hot in Friday's extra-inning loss to the Indians, going 3-for-5 with a two-run homer. The sixth inning blast off Rich Hill was his seventh of the season, and knotted the game at 3-3. He's now homered five times and driven in 13 runs in his last six games. Despite the recent success however, he's still hitting .235/.278/.541 on the season and remains a spot play at best in most fantasy leagues.
