Dickey will now start Wednesday against San Diego after swapping with Marco Estrada, Gregor Chisholm of MLB.com reports.

EDGE Analysis

Dickey was originally in line to start Friday's contest, but will switch with Estrada and pitch Wednesday against the Padres. This move will give Estrada an extra two days to rest his back with the team having a day off Thursday. Throughout the 2016 season, Dickey has posted a 4.44 ERA with a 1.34 WHIP over the course of 21 starts.

Dickey (7-11) gave up six earned runs on seven hits and two walks over three innings in Saturday's 14-5 loss to the Mariners. He struck out three.

EDGE Analysis

The veteran knuckleballer took it on the chin once again, with the most significant blow coming on a grand slam in the third inning by Nelson Cruz that helped end his afternoon early. Dickey threw 72 pitches in that brief time span, with the 11 swinging strikes he induced one of the few positives. After a solid stretch of pitching through June and early July, Dickey has now surrendered 11 earned runs on 12 hits and five walks over the nine innings covering his last two starts, while also yielding four homers during that span. The 41-year-old will try to right the ship next Friday versus the Orioles.

Dickey (7-10) gave up five earned runs on five hits and three walks over six-plus innings in Saturday's 5-4 loss to the A's. He struck out four but also gave up three homers.

EDGE Analysis

The veteran knuckleballer was hit hard by a team he'd dominated over the prior three seasons in the A's. Dickey couldn't stay away from the long ball, giving up a pair of solo round-trippers to Khris Davis and a three-run blast to Ryon Healy. The outing broke a streak of three straight quality starts for the 41-year-old, and marked the third time in the last five outings that Dickey had surrendered multiple homers. He'll look to rebound against the Mariners next Saturday.

Through 19 starts, Dickey (7-9) hits the All-Star Break with a 3.93 ERA, 1.29 WHIP and 83:40 K:BB in 116.2 innings.

EDGE Analysis

After a terrible first month of the season in which he went 1-3 in five starts with a 6.76 ERA, Dickey rebounded nicely and now has his ERA at its best mark of the season. The knuckleballer struggled with efficiency early in the year, tossing seven-plus innings just two through his first 16 starts. However, he's locked in of late, pitching seven innings in each of his last three outings before the break. His overall numbers are reasonably in line with his career averages, and there's no reason to think he won't continue to be a productive asset to any fantasy team.

Dickey (7-9) gave up just one run on five hits and two walks over seven innings Sunday, striking out five, to pick up the win over the Tigers.

EDGE Analysis

It was his third straight quality start and the outing lowered Dickey's ERA to 3.93, the first time it's been below 4.00 all season. He's completely turned his season around after a brutal April, but the Jays will need him to remain strong in the second half as they make another push for the playoffs.

Dickey (6-9) worked seven innings, allowing two unearned runs, four hits and three walks while striking out eight in Tuesday's victory against the Royals.

EDGE Analysis

After making it through seven innings just twice in his first 16 starts of the year, the 41-year-old knuckleballer has now done it in two straight outings. With Tuesday's performance, Dickey pushed his ERA to below 4.00 for the first time this season. The 2012 Cy Young winner's eight K's were the most he's had since striking out a season-high nine Red Sox back on April 9. Dickey is scheduled to make one more start before the break, which will be Sunday against Detroit.

Dickey (5-9) pitched seven quality innings, allowing three runs, eight hits and one walk while striking out four in Thursday's loss to the Indians, who have now won 13 straight games.

EDGE Analysis

Dickey was done in by two home runs on Thursday. Five of the 19 home runs he's allowed this season have come on the first pitch. Both Rajai Davis (second inning) and Jason Kipnis (third) ambushed the first pitch they received for their home runs. Davis crushed one of Dickey's signature knucklers, while Kipnis belted a fastball. The veteran is allowing a career-high 1.7 HR/9 this year, and has his highest ERA (4.23) since 2009 when he spent a season in Minnesota.

Dickey (5-8) surrendered six hits, five runs (four earned) and a walk over 5.1 innings in Saturday's 10-8 victory over the White Sox. He struck out seven.

EDGE Analysis

The veteran knuckleballer secured the win despite a second-inning sequence in which he surrendered three consecutive homers. Brett Lawrie got things rolling with an inside-the-park round-tripper, with former battery mate Dioner Navarro and J.B. Schuck rounding out the long ball barrage with solo shots. Lawrie tagged Dickey again in the fourth for a solo homer to left, but he otherwise managed to keep the White Sox in check before exiting with an 8-4 lead. The outing certainly wasn't his sharpest, but it was enough to get him back in the win column after two consecutive losses. He'll try to keep the momentum going next Thursday versus the Indians.

The veteran knuckleballer generally hung tough against a potent Orioles offense, but found his own teammates stymied against Yovani Gallardo and an array of Baltimore relievers. Dickey induced 13 swinging strikes, and made just one glaring error, that coming in the form of a solo homer by Jonathan Schoop in the third. Despite the solid performance and third quality start in the last four appearances, the 41-year-old suffered his second consecutive loss.

Dickey (4-7) gave up three runs on five hits, with two walks and four strikeouts over 6.1 innings in Monday's loss to the Phillies.

EDGE Analysis

Philadelphia did most of its damage with the longball, as solo shots by Odubel Herrera in the third and Ryan Howard in the seventh inning accounted for two of the team's three runs against Dickey. The veteran pitched well enough to keep the Blue Jays in the game, but their offense failed to muster a single run against Jerad Eickhoff. Dickey will need more support if he wants to come out victorious in his next start Saturday in Baltimore.
