The Miami Marlins signed switch pitcher Pat Venditte to a minor league contract on Thursday. Venditte had previously signed a deal with the Marlins in January, but he was released before Summer Camp. Los Angeles Dodgers relief pitcher Pat Venditte will be sent to minor league camp, according to Ken Gurnick of MLB.com. The 32-year-old was terrific in Cactus League play, registering a 1.74 ERA, 0.97 WHIP and 13/3 K/BB ratio over 10 1/3 innings. He will surely get a chance with the big league club at some point during the 2018 campaign.
