His potential for steals makes him a somewhat appealing option as a middle infielder in deeper fantasy leagues, but owners can expect to be disappointed with the other aspects of his game.

FOX Sports' Ken Rosenthal reports the Blue Jays will call up infielder Munenori Kawasaki to take the place of Jose Reyes (ankle) on the active roster. The Blue Jays are expected to use a combination of Maicer Izturis and Emilio Bonifacio to replace Reyes, so Kawasaki will serve as depth in the short-term. Rosenthal also expects the Jays to have interest in trading for Josh Wilson or the recently DFA'd Cody Ransom.
