Moore is scheduled to start Friday's game against the Padres in San Diego.
EDGE Analysis
Moore joined the rotation last week as a replacement for Chase Anderson, who had been moved to the injured list with a triceps issue. Though the veteran southpaw had maintained a 7.67 ERA and 1.59 WHIP in his previous seven outings with the Phillies before his Aug. 14 start against the Reds, he surprised by striking out eight over six no-hit innings. Moore's body of work this season would suggest his most recent start is a massive outlier, but he'll at least get the chance to make one more turn through the rotation while a now-healthy Anderson works out of the bullpen.

Moore (2-3) picked up the win Saturday, tossing six no-hit, scoreless innings while walking two and striking out eight in a 6-1 win over the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran southpaw got the hook after 76 pitches (48 strikes) and handed things over to the Phillies' bullpen hoping for a combined no-hitter or at least a shutout, and predictably it couldn't get the job done as Archie Bradley served up a leadoff homer to Tyler Stephenson in the eighth inning. Both of Moore's wins on the season have come in August, as he got the victory Aug. 4 against the Nats after working four innings of long relief, but despite Saturday's outstanding effort, his 6.07 ERA on the season will likely bump him back to the bullpen once one of the Phillies' other rotation options gets healthy.

Phillies manager Joe Girardi said Moore will likely start Saturday's game against the Reds, Todd Zolecki of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Unless he's needed in relief during the Phillies' next three games, Moore will step back into the rotation as a replacement for Chase Anderson (triceps), who was placed on the injured list last weekend. Whether working as a starter or long reliever this season, Moore has been hit hard (2.1 HR/9, 1.63 WHIP) and has exhibited poor control (9.4 percent walk rate). Even in NL-only formats, Moore may do more harm than good for fantasy managers.

Moore will be a reliever for the Phillies going forward, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran had pitched fairly well before allowing six runs in his last two starts, which ballooned his ERA to 6.46 in 46 innings this season. Given his struggles, Moore doesn't figure to get any high-leverage opportunities out of the bullpen. Ranger Suarez will serve as Moore's replacement in the starting rotation.

Moore (0-3) took the loss Tuesday versus the Nationals after giving up six runs on seven hits with three strikeouts and two walks over four innings.
EDGE Analysis
Moore served up a three-run home run in each of the first two frames as Washington jumped out to an early lead. It's the second consecutive outing in which the left-hander gave up exactly six runs. He appeared set to lose his spot in the rotation with the Phillies on the verge of acquiring Tyler Anderson from the Pirates on Tuesday, but the trade fell through due to medicals after an initial agreement was reached. Moore has a 6.46 ERA, 1.65 WHIP and 40:22 K:BB across 46 innings this season, and he tentatively lines up for his next turn through the rotation Sunday in Pittsburgh.

Moore (0-2) allowed six earned runs on six hits and three walks while striking out four across six innings to take the loss Thursday against Atlanta.
EDGE Analysis
The majority of the damage Moore surrendered came in the third inning. He retired the first two batters he faced but allowed two singles and a walk before serving up a grand slam to Dansby Swanson. This was Moore's longest outing of the season, which at least offset the damage of his outing to some degree. Moore now has a 5.79 ERA with a 37:20 K:BB across 42 innings on the campaign.

Moore gave up two runs on six hits and zero walks while striking out nine through 4.1 innings in Game 1 of Friday's doubleheader against the Marlins. He did not factor in the decision.
EDGE Analysis
Moore's prior season-high in strikeouts was five on April 11 in Atlanta, so this seems like quite an outlier of a performance for the journeyman lefty. He has failed to log more than 4.1 innings in any of his last three appearances and tentatively lines up to face the Yankees on the road Wednesday.

Moore gave up two runs on five hits and two walks with four strikeouts across four innings in a no-decision versus the Cubs on Monday.
EDGE Analysis
The runs against the left-hander came on a Jake Marisnick solo home run and a Javier Baez RBI double. Moore essentially had a turn skipped in the rotation after his spot start last Thursday was rained out -- his previous appearance was June 25. He's pitched to a 5.60 ERA, 1.68 WHIP and 23:14 K:BB across 27.1 innings in a versatile role. He tentatively projects to make one more start before the All-Star break, but it would be a tough one during this weekend's series in Boston.

Moore and the Phillies won't play the Marlins on Thursday after the game was postponed due to inclement weather in Philadelphia, Matt Gelb of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The two sides have yet to announce a make-up date for the postponed game. Considering that Moore was scheduled to make a spot start Thursday after Zach Eflin fell ill, the Phillies may elect to push the southpaw to the back of their pitching schedule. If that's the case, Moore likely wouldn't be in line to make his next start until Tuesday in Chicago against the Cubs.

Moore will start Thursday's game against the Marlins after Zach Eflin was scratched with an illness, Jim Salisbury of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Moore initially appeared set to step into the rotation during this weekend's series against the Padres, filling the starting role that had previously been occupied by Spencer Howard, who was optioned to Triple-A Lehigh Valley on Tuesday. Eflin's illness resulted in a late change of plans, but Moore should still be ready to handle a normal starter's workload despite taking the hill on short notice. Moore will be pitching on five days' rest after he tossed five scoreless frames against the Mets last Friday in the second game of a doubleheader.
