Garza (3-4) was the winning pitcher in Saturday night's 15-6 rout of Arizona, allowing three runs (two earned) on three hits and three walks while striking out three over 6.1 frames.
EDGE Analysis
The 32-year-old right-hander carried a two-hit shutout into the seventh inning when his best and longest outing of the season was soured by Welington Castillo's two-run shot. Despite the strong performance, Garza's ERA still sits at 5.03 on the season; he does, however, seem more comfortable in his last three starts, posting a 2-0 record and 3.16 ERA over that same span.

Garza (2-4) allowed two runs, one of which was earned, on four hits and one walk while striking out five over five innings to earn the win Sunday against the Pirates.
EDGE Analysis
Garza allowed a single runs in the third and fifth innings while the offense provided him four runs, and the bullpen was able to protect the lead to help him earn his second victory of the campaign. After giving up at least four runs in five consecutive outings, he's now allowed a total of four earned runs over his last two starts to lower his ERA to 5.32 on the year. He'll make his next start Saturday at the Diamondbacks.

Garza (1-4) allowed three runs on five hits and two walks while striking out two over six innings, but received no decision Tuesday against the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
After allowing a pair of runs in the first inning, Garza settled down and only gave up one run in his final five innings of work, and he left the contest of the 4-3 lead. However, the bullpen was unable to hold on, leading to the no decision. This was the first quality start he's registered in his last six outings, and he now holds a 5.74 ERA to go along with a 1.68 WHIP. He'll make his next start Sunday against the Pirates.

Garza (1-4) took another loss Thursday in Pittsburgh after allowing five runs (four earned) on eight hits and two walks over five innings.
EDGE Analysis
That's four defeats in a row for Garza and five straight games in which he's given up at least four runs. The 32-year-old righty had a nice heyday in his youth, but he doesn't miss enough bats anymore and thus gets hit hard with regularity, which should be enough to leave him off most fantasy rosters.

Garza (1-3) allowed four runs on six hits and two walks while striking out three over 5.1 innings to take the loss Friday at the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Garza entered the sixth inning with a 3-1 lead, but he promptly gave up three runs in the next third of an inning, forcing his exit from the contest. He's now allowed at least four earned runs in each of his last four starts, raising his ERA to 5.74 to go along with a 1.72 WHIP. He'll make his next start Thursday at the Pirates.

Garza (1-2) allowed seven runs on eight hits and two walks while striking out two over 4.1 innings to take the loss Wednesday at the Nationals.
EDGE Analysis
Garza fell behind 4-0 in the second inning before the Brewers' offense tied the game in the third inning. However, he gave up an additional three runs before his exit, causing him to drop his second decision of the season. After two good starts to open his season, he's now allowed 15 earned runs in his last 16 innings of work over three starts to raise his ERA to 5.54 on the year. His next start will be after the All-Star break.

Garza (1-0) allowed four runs on seven hits, struck out one and walked three in a victory over the Nationals on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
The 32-year-old has allowed a lot of base runners since making his 2016 debut on June 14, but he's kept the ERA in check, allowing five runs to score in 16 innings (2.81 ERA). Four of those runs came Saturday when he yielded 10 base runners in six frames against Washington. The ground ball often helped him out of trouble, as he induced 10 ground ball outs for the second straight outing. Garza will look to keep this going in his next start against St. Louis on Friday.

Garza will get the start Saturday against Washington, Adam McCalvy of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Garza was originally expected to start Sunday's game but the Brewers are giving Chase Anderson a day off and Garza will slide into his start on normal rest. During his most recent outing, Garza pitched six scoreless innings while allowing five hits and earning two strikeouts Sunday in a no decision. Since Garza will move up one day, Jimmy Nelson will pitch Sunday's game in the series finale against the Nationals.

Garza allowed no runs on five hits while striking out two over six innings, but received no decision Sunday at the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
Garza's still getting ramped up to be able to increase his pitch count, so he was pulled after throwing only 70 pitches. He left the contest with a one-run lead, but the bullpen gave up a pair of late runs, keeping him from his first win of the year. In his two starts, he's only allowed a single run over 10 innings of work. He'll make his next start Sunday against the Nationals.

Garza allowed one run on eight hits and one walk while striking out five over four innings, but received no decision Tuesday at the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
In his first start of the season, Garza gave up nine baserunners and threw 87 pitches in his four innings of work, though he was able to limit the damage to only a single run in a game the Giants would go on to lose. He'll look to limit the baserunners he allows a bit better in his next start Sunday at the Dodgers.
