He's now 22-for-23 overall in save chances with a 1.54 ERA and 1.03 WHIP. The 43-year-old right-hander should be an elite fantasy option throughout his farewell major league campaign.

Mariano Rivera got the final out for his 10th save of the year Tuesday against the Astros. It was about as easy a save as a closer can get. Still, he was up to the task, striking out Jason Castro to end the game. Mo is now tied for the league lead in saves.

After missing most of 2012, it looks as though Rivera has rounded into form, as he now owns a 2.57 ERA and 1.00 WHIP. He remains one of the more solid options for saves in the league.

Mariano Rivera converted his third save of the season Tuesday, closing out the Diamondbacks. It was the first appearance in which Rivera didn't allow a baserunner, a positive for the 43-year-old reliever. He also struck out one in the outing. He isn't an elite closer anymore, but he's plenty serviceable in all leagues.
