Lucas Harrell suffered a tough-luck no-decision Wednesday, as he held the Nationals to one run on four hits and three walks over 6 2/3 innings. He punched out four and didn't let a run cross the plate until a Roger Bernadina RBI double chased him in the seventh. Harrell struggled in his second outing, but he's pitched well in two of three starts this season and how holds a 2.55 ERA and 1.19 WHIP for the year. He'll get the Brewers on the road next.

Lucas Harrell struggled against the Marlins on Friday, allowing four runs on seven hits in just four innings of work. He struggled with his command all night, walking four and striking out two. He needed 85 pitches to battle his way through four innings. Harrell well attempt to get back on track as he takes on the Nationals in Washington next week.

Lucas Harrell tossed seven shutout innings Saturday in the Astros' defeat of the Rockies. The 26-year-old right-hander yielded just three hits and struck out four batters without issuing a single walk. Harrell won a spot in Houston's starting rotation with a strong showing this spring and has now carried that momentum into the 2012 regular season. Though, for fantasy purposes, we wouldn't read a whole lot into it.

Lucas Harrell tossed six shutout innings Monday night against Double-A Corpus Christi. Harrell scattered six hits while whiffing four and walking just one. The 26-year-old right-hander was awarded a rotation spot on Monday and is scheduled to face the Rockies in the second game of the season on Saturday. Despite his shiny 2.16 ERA this spring, he isn't worth chasing in fantasy leagues.

Lucas Harrell allowed an unearned run and three hits over five innings Tuesday in the Astros' 6-3 win over the Marlins. Harrell's first start of the spring was a good one, as he lowered his ERA to 2.16. He possesses little in the way of upside, but he could be moderately useful as a middle reliever for the Astros.

Lucas Harrell will start in place of Bud Norris (shoulder) Sunday against the Rockies. Harrell had success in a spot start against the Brewers earlier this month, but he's not a great bet to keep that momentum going. The 26-year-old righty has surrendered 16 hits, seven runs and seven walks in 14 total major league innings this season.

Lucas Harrell will be moved to the bullpen. Harrell tossed 5 1/3 shutout innings in a spot start Friday, but he'll now be used out of the pen down the stretch. "The stuff that he showed (Friday) night showed that he can throw short, middle, long just because of what he's built up," Astros manager Brad Mills said.

Lucas Harrell pitched pretty well in his first start with the Astros, tossing 5 1/3 scoreless innings on three hits and two walks in a loss to the Brewers. He struck out four. Harrell fell into a lot of deep counts, which led to him throwing a whopping 114 pitches, but he left with a 2-0 lead before the Astros bullpen blew it. Harrell was pitching really well at Triple-A before his promotion and has likely earned more starts over the final month.

Astros purchased the contract of RHP Lucas Harrell from Triple-A Round Rock. Harrell will take the mound on Friday against the Brewers. The 26-year-old starter has enjoyed success in the minor leagues but can be avoided for fantasy purposes.

The Astros will call up right-hander Lucas Harrell to start Friday against the Brewers. He'll take the place of Brett Myers, who will leave the team for the birth of his child. Harrell was claimed off waivers from the White Sox in July. The 26-year-old right-hander posted a 2.63 ERA and 94/50 K/BB ratio over 126 2/3 innings at the Triple-A level this season. The 2004 fourth-round pick will likely head back to the bullpen upon Myers' return and Friday's matchup is hardly ideal, so he can be ignored in fantasy leagues.
