Lucas Harrell turned in a quality start in a no-decision against the Reds on Friday, allowing three runs on seven hits over his six innings of work. Harrell struck out five while walking four in the game. Ryan Ludwick did most of the damage with a two-run single in the first inning. He'll head into Wednesday's home start against the Cubs with a respectable 10-9 record, 3.83 ERA and 121/65 K/BB ratio over 171 1/3 innings.

Lucas Harrell pitched fairly well in Thursday's loss to the Nationals, allowing two runs on five hits over his five innings of work. Harrell punched out five and walked two in the game. He's been extremely impressive over his last six starts, posting a 2.27 ERA and 31/18 K/BB ratio over 35 2/3 innings. The Astros have talked about limiting his innings on the season, but until he gets to that point he's well worth owning and deploying as a matchup play in most fantasy formats. He happens to draw such a favorable assignment on Wednesday when he takes on the Cubs in Chicago.

The Astros are considering putting Lucas Harrell on an innings limit. Harrell is currently at 133 innings, and there's reportedly been in-depth discussions about limiting his workload. "We're definitely going to have to watch that moving forward," manager Brad Mills said. The Astros could use a six-man rotation when rosters expanded at the beginning of September, but seem doubtful to completely shutdown Harrell.

Lucas Harrell out-dueled Braves newcomer Paul Maholm on Saturday, allowing just two runs on four hits over six strong innings in an Astros victory. Harrell struggled a bit with his command, walking five in the game, but he also recorded five strikeouts. Dan Uggla delivered a two-run single in the sixth inning to account for the scoring, tying the game at 2-2 at the time. Harrell, a 27-year-old right-hander, has pitched much better since the All-Star break, going 2-1 with a 2.05 ERA over five starts. He'll look to keep it going when he takes on the Nationals at home on Thursday.

Lucas Harrell struck out nine over five innings Tuesday against the Pirates but also allowed nine hits and five runs in a loss. He was taken deep by Andrew McCutchen. The punchouts are nice, but Harrell no doubt would have preferred going deeper in the game in his first start after last week's shutout. The owner of a 4.56 ERA and 1.35 WHIP, he'll get the Brewers this weekend in his final start prior to the All-Star break.

Lucas Harrell allowed nine runs on 10 hits, three walks and two home runs in five innings of Houston's 13-5 loss in Colorado on Wednesday. Welcome to Coors Field, Lucas. It was all downhill for Harrell after he served up a first-inning grand slam to Michael Cuddyer. Now 4-4, Harrell will bring a 4.71 ERA, 1.48 WHIP and 32/27 K/BB ratio into his Tuesday start against the Cardinals. Harrell's ERA had been 3.72 entering this evening.

Lucas Harrell outdueled Clayton Kershaw beat the Dodgers by allowing one run and five hits in 7 1/3 innings Friday. Harrell won despite not getting a single strikeout. What he did do was post a 16/3 GB/FB ratio. He's now 4-3 with a 3.72 ERA in his nine starts for the Astros. He's still not a very good bet to provide lasting value in NL-only leagues, but he's been exactly what Houston needed him to be.

Lucas Harrell pitched very well on Friday against the Cardinals, allowing just three earned runs on seven hits over his 5 1/3 innings of work. Harrell struck out three and walked two on the night. He's been wildly inconsistent thus far on the season, and now sits at 2-2 with a 4.76 ERA through his first 34 innings. He'll look to build on this strong performance when he takes on the Marlins next week.

Lucas Harrell was touched up for five runs over five innings in a loss to the Brewers on Monday night. Harrell allowed five hits (including a solo homer by Ryan Braun) and three walks while striking out only one. He still has a 3.97 ERA through four starts, but this comes with a lousy 11/10 K/BB ratio over 22 2/3 innings. He isn't worth chasing in fantasy leagues.
