The Detroit Tigers are trying to trade starting pitchers Francisco Liriano and Mike Fiers and outfielder Leonys Martin at the trade deadline, while starting pitcher Michael Fulmer and outfielder Nicholas Castellanos are on the back burner. Detroit Tigers outfielder and leadoff hitter Leonys Martin (hamstring) will not return to the lineup before the All Star break, manager Ron Gardenhire told reporters on Saturday. The veteran outfielder has been on the shelf since July 2, and could begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Toledo July 16-19, which would put him in line to rejoin the club on July 20 following the break. Martin is batting .257 with nine homers and seven stolen bases on the season.

Though cramps usually aren't a big deal, it's the same hamstring that he strained earlier this season forcing him to go on the disabled list.
