Cleveland Indians outfielder Leonys Martin (illness) is being released from the hospital on Sunday. Martin is dealing with a life-threatening bacterial infection that could very well keep him out for the rest of the year. This is great news, but it doesn't really change the fact that he probably won't be able to help fantasy owners the rest of the year. Greg Allen has been seeing most of the time as the starting center fielder.

Cleveland Indians outfielder Leonys Martin (illness), who is dealing with a life-threatening bacterial infection, is unlikely to play again this season. Martin played in just six games with the Tribe after being acquired from Detroit at the deadline. His injury leaves the Indians thin in the outfield, but Greg Allen has mostly been manning center field and should continue to do so with Martin out indefinitely. Cleveland Indians outfielder Leonys Martin is on the bench for Wednesday's game due to an illness. Manager Terry Francona called it, "intestinal turmoil" which immediately becomes a new favorite euphemism. Brandon Guyer will bat ninth and get the start in center field. Martin should be back in the lineup soon.
