Kendrick gave up seven runs on nine hits and two walks in just 1.2 innings against the Phillies on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
Meanwhile, Jhoulys Chacin tossed three scoreless with just three hits allowed against St. Louis in the Braves' other split-squad game Friday. Williams Perez and Manny Banuelos are believed to be the leading candidates to round out the rotation, and one would have to think Kendrick is a distant fifth in the competition (behind prospect Aaron Blair, too) at the moment.

Kendrick was charged with three runs (two earned) on three hits and a walk in two innings against the Mets on Sunday in his spring debut.
EDGE Analysis
A non-roster invitee to major league camp, he is competing for one of the two open spots in the Braves' rotation. Manny Banuelos, Williams Perez, Jhoulys Chacin, and Aaron Blair are all in the mix as well along with Kendrick. The 31-year-old Kendrick is coming off a miserable season in Colorado, and if he were to win a job, would merely be an innings eater for Atlanta until some of their younger arms force their way up to the majors.

Kendrick signed a minor league contract with the Braves on Thursday that includes an invite to spring training, 680 The Fan's Kevin McAlpin reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 31-year-old righty managed to go six straight seasons in big league rotations with Philadelphia and Colorado, but he has posted an ERA over 4.60 and a K-rate below 15 percent in each of his last three seasons. He could be used as a spot starter for the Braves, specifically early in the year, but they have enough young arms that it is hard to see Kendrick as a legitimate rotation option, even on a team as bad as Atlanta. If Kendrick does compile some big league innings in 2016, his main fantasy value will come from streaming hitters against him in daily leagues.

Kendrick (7-13) pitched well on Friday, allowing one run on five hits and a walk while striking out six in a win over the Giants.
EDGE Analysis
This is a nice bright spot in what's been a terrible season for the veteran. Kendrick has allowed 33 home runs this season and he's simply not cut to pitch in Coors Field. He now has a 6.32 ERA and 1.52 WHIP in 142.1 innings this season.

Kendrick was tagged for six runs on five hits and three walks over five innings in a no-decision Saturday against the Dodgers.
EDGE Analysis
It was another wretched outing for Kendrick, who served up his MLB-leading 33rd home run in the contest. Kendrick has been able to eat 136.1 innings for the Rockies this season, but he's taken it on the chin nearly every time he's toed the rubber. With a 6.54 ERA and 1.54 WHIP on the season, it's difficult to imagine Kendrick receiving anything more than a minor-league contract when he becomes a free agent this winter.

Kendrick (6-13) surrendered six runs on six hits and a walk over four innings to take the loss Sunday against the Padres.
EDGE Analysis
Kendrick served up a season-high four homers, vaulting him ahead of the Cubs' Dan Haren and Diamondbacks' Rubby De La Rosa for the MLB lead with 32 long balls allowed. Given that the Rockies have been out of playoff contention for a while along with the fact that Kendrick is slated to become a free agent this offseason, it's surprising he's still a member of the rotation at this point. Perhaps this latest blowup will finally result in manager Walt Weiss making a change.

Kendrick (6-12) recorded the win Sunday against the Mariners after giving up two runs on three hits and two walks over five innings.
EDGE Analysis
For the third straight start since returning from injury, Kendrick was held to a 75-pitch count, a limit that should remain in place for the rest of the season now that rosters have expanded. Kendrick has produced better results since his return from the DL, but with his ERA still sitting at 6.15, those in NL-only formats may be reluctant to rely on him.

Kendrick won his fifth game Monday against the Padres as he allowed three runs on seven hits and two walks over five innings. He struck out four.
EDGE Analysis
Kendrick managed to survive his five innings and get the win, and he was mercifully pulled after just 75 pitches as he continues to work his way back from an injury. Kendrick induced just three swinging strikes and was in jam after jam, and his ERA still sits at 6.25.

Kendrick allowed one run on three hits and two walks over four innings in his return to the rotation, a no decision Monday against the Diamondbacks. He struck out two.
EDGE Analysis
Kendrick threw just 72 pitches in his first start since July 31. He's looking to prove he's healthy heading into free agency, but he's been brutal this year, with a 4-12 record and a 6.29 ERA. The Rockies are just looking for him to eat some innings.

Kendrick (shoulder) was officially reinstated from the DL on Tuesday, and he'll start the second game of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
As expected, Kendrick will return to the rotation after throwing a bullpen session over the weekend without issue. This might not exactly be great news for fantasy players, as Kendrick is just 4-12 with a paltry 6.43 ERA on the year.
