Kevin Correia gave up four earned runs in six innings in a 5-4 loss to the Rangers on Friday. Correia surrendered two runs in the first and two in the fifth as his record fell to 4-9. He walked two and struck out three. Though his ERA is still north of five (5.08), he had only allowed two earned runs in his previous three starts. For the month of June, he's posted a 2.74 ERA. He'll try to get back on track against the Royals as the calender turns to July.

Kevin Correia held the White Sox to two runs (one earned) over six innings Saturday as part of a victory. Correia gave up an RBI single to Jose Abreu in the first inning and hit Gordon Beckham with a pitch with the bases loaded in the second inning, but he managed to avoid trouble the rest of the way. He struck out two and walked two in the victory. The veteran right-hander has allowed one run or fewer in three out of his last four starts, lowering his ERA from 6.34 to 5.02 in the process, but he shouldn't be trusted in most fantasy leagues.

Kevin Correia limited the Red Sox to one run in six innings Monday, but still fell to 3-8 on the season. Correia's night could have ended a lot differently, as David Ortiz didn't miss a three-run homer in the sixth by much. Still, this makes two straight effective starts for him, as he's lowered his ERA from 6.11 to 5.19. It enhances his job security, but we still think the Twins would be better off moving on.

Kevin Correia improved to 3-7, shutting out the Blue Jays over six innings as the Twins won 4-0 on Tuesday. This was about as good as Correia has looked all season. The right-hander entered the match with a 6.11 ERA and was up against the bombardiers that make up the Jays' lineup, but escaped unscathed. He allowed six hits, walked one, and struck out one. In the process, he lowered his ERA to 5.60 and now has a 38/15 K/BB ratio in 72 1/3 innings. He'll face the Red Sox on the road next.

Kevin Correia fell to 2-7, allowing five runs over five innings in Thursday's loss to the Brewers. Correia was hit hard, allowing 10 hits -- including home runs to Carlos Gomez and Khris Davis -- while walking none and striking out three. It is the fifth time he has allowed five-plus runs over 12 starts this season. The right-hander's ERA jumps up to 6.11 with a 1.55 WHIP. Correia will face the powerhouse Blue Jays' offense in his next start on the road.

Kevin Correia yielded one run over six innings Saturday in a no-decision against the Yankees. Correia didn't appear long for the game after loading the bases with nobody out in the first inning, but he managed to escape without allowing a run. His only mistake on the afternoon was a solo homer from Yangervis Solarte in the fourth. This was just the third time in 11 starts that Correia had allowed fewer than three runs in a start this season. He remains a very poor fantasy bet.

Kevin Correia gave up four earned runs in seven innings Monday in the Twins' loss to the Rangers. It was another disappointing showing from the soft-tossing right-hander, who didn't walk a batter but was touched up for seven hits. He is 2-6 on the season with a disastrous 6.34 ERA and 1.50 WHIP.

Kevin Correia yielded three runs on four hits in six innings Tuesday to beat the Padres. The right-hander whiffed six and walked one in his return to Petco Park. It was one of Correia's best starts of the season, which tells you more about his 2014 struggles than it does about tonight. Now 2-5 with a 6.52 ERA and 1.57 WHIP, Correia rolls out the red carpet for a home matchup against the Rangers on Monday.

Kevin Correia was pulled after giving up five runs and nine hits in four innings against the Red Sox on Wednesday. Why is he even still in the rotation? Correia is now 1-5 with a 6.80 ERA, while better options abound in Triple-A. Maybe the Twins will stash him on the DL, much like they did the similarly struggling Mike Pelfrey.

Kevin Correia yielded four runs in 4 1/3 innings Thursday in a loss to the Indians. Correia gave up two homers among the eight hits he allowed and also walked four, so his ERA could have taken a much bigger hit. As is, he's sitting at 6.34 after seven starts. The Twins should move on, but since Correia was strong in his previous outing against the Orioles, he'll probably get one more start before his status is reevaluated.
