Juan Francisco walked twice and had a two-RBI double in Tuesday's 4-0 win over the Nationals. The only time Francisco was retired was on a highly questionable strike three call in the sixth. He's heating up at the dish, batting .346 with four homers and seven RBI over his last seven contests.

Juan Francisco went 2-for-4 and hit his 10th homer Monday in the loss to the Nationals. Rickie Weeks and Francisco went back-to-back off Jordan Zimmermann in the sixth. The homer was Francisco's fifth in 69 at-bats for the Brewers. Unfortunately, he has just nine other hits in that span, giving him a .217 average for his new team. He's been an upgrade over what the Brewers were using at first base, though.

Juan Francisco homered in his third straight game Thursday, ripping a solo shot against the Cubs' Blake Parker in a loss. Francisco struck out in his other three plate appearances. Though he's gone deep four times in 19 games since joining the Brew Crew, Francisco is batting just .196. Of course, that should be no surprise, as the big infielder has always had plus raw power but offered little else. He now has nine dingers on the year in his time with the Brewers and Braves.

Juan Francisco, starting in his third consecutive game for the Brewers, went 1-for-3 in Thursday's loss to the Phillies. He started at first base on Tuesday and Thursday, while manning the hot corner on Wednesday. If he continues to draw regular playing time at first base while Corey Hart remains sidelined, his immense power potential makes him an solid addition in deeper mixed leagues.

Brewers acquired 3B Juan Francisco from the Braves for minor league LHP Tom Keeling. Francisco was designated for assignment by the Braves last week after batting just .241/.287/.398 through his first 35 games. The 25-year-old will serve in a backup role to Aramis Ramirez with the Brewers. Keeling, 25, is a Double-A reliever with 3.18 ERA in 17 appearances this season.

Braves designated 3B Juan Francisco for assignment. It's a surprising move given that the Braves traded for Francisco a little over one year ago. The 25-year-old batted just .237/.281/.420 in 128 games with Atlanta, but he's young and has some pop which should lead to him drawing heavy interest on waivers. The Braves will start Chris Johnson at third base going forward.

Juan Francisco hit his first career grand slam Wednesday off the Reds' J.J. Hoover. Those two were traded for one another a year ago, so this had to feel especially good for Francisco. The homer was his fifth in 75 at-bats this season. His 28/4 K/BB ratio is less than encouraging, but he's been a nice starter against right-handed pitching so far.

Juan Francisco (ankle) went 0-for-3 with a walk and two strikeouts Tuesday in his return to action. Francisco suffered a mild right ankle sprain on Friday, but it was never a major concern. The 25-year-old is hitting .282/.320/.465 with four homers, 12 RBI and a .785 OPS through 22 games this season.

Juan Francisco (ankle) reported improvement Sunday but is not yet ready to play. Francisco was diagnosed with a mild right ankle sprain after leaving Friday's game. It sounds like he'll have a good chance to return to play against his former club when the Braves begin a series in Cincinnati on Monday.

Juan Francisco is being considered day-to-day after being diagnosed with a mild ankle strain. With as bad as the injury appeared, the Braves and Francisco can breathe a sigh of relief that it's just a mild strain. He was trying to get back to second base in the third inning on Friday's game, when he switched directions and badly rolled his ankle trying to get back to second base. Chris Johnson will likely handle third base while Francisco is out.
