The Seattle Mariners have added depth with the signing of veteran pitcher Jon Niese on Wednesday. The veteran lefty has been pitching with the Long Island Ducks of the independent league. Niese hasn't appeared in an MLB game since 2016 with the Pirates and Mets. He'll head to Triple-A, but that won't mean much for fantasy leagues right now.
