Cleveland Indians relief pitcher Jeff Beliveau was designated for assignment on Friday. Beliveau appeared in five games for Cleveland, pitching 3 1/3 innings while allowing four runs on five hits and four walks. The 31-year-old lefty will likely clear waivers and report to Triple-A Columbus.
