Arrieta (3-4) picked up the win in Friday's 5-3 victory over the Mets, allowing two runs on seven hits and a walk over seven innings. He struck out a season-high seven.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander's only real mistake resulted in a two-run shot by Michael Conforto, but otherwise Arrieta was sharp while throwing 102 pitches (69 strikes). It was his second quality start of the season, but the poor outings have outnumbered the good ones this year for the 34-year-old. He'll carry a 5.67 ERA, 1.47 WHIP and 25:11 K:BB through 33.1 innings into his next start Thursday in Miami.

Arrieta (2-4) took the loss Sunday versus Atlanta, yielding seven runs on six hits and three walks over 1.1 innings. He failed to record a strikeout.
EDGE Analysis
Arrieta got through the first inning fine despite allowing a pair of baserunners, but he was touched up in the second before David Hale relieved him. The awful outing inflated Arrieta's ERA to 6.49 with a 1.56 WHIP and 18 strikeouts through 26.1 innings this season. The right-hander will try to get back on track next weekend against the Mets.

Arrieta (2-3) earned the win Tuesday against the Nationals after giving up one run on one hit with one strikeout and one walk over five innings.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran right-hander was through five frames at only 54 pitches, but a rain delay interrupted the contest and resulted in him not retaking the mound when play resumed. Arrieta has a 4.32 ERA, 1.20 WHIP and 18:7 K:BB through 25 innings, and his next start lines up for Sunday versus Atlanta.

Arrieta (1-3) took the loss Wednesday at Boston after surrendering four runs on five hits across 4.1 innings. He had three strikeouts and four walks.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran right-hander entered Wednesday having issued only two walks this season, but he struggled with his command against the Red Sox and delivered 45 of his 79 pitches for strikes. Arrieta has a 4.95 ERA, 1.40 WHIP and 17:6 K:BB through 20 innings and will look to get back on track next week at Washington.

Arrieta (1-2) took the loss against the Orioles on Thursday, allowing four runs on seven hits and one walk over 4.2 innings. He struck out four.
EDGE Analysis
Arrieta was coming off a strong performance in a win against the Braves, but the right-hander was unable to build off the performance Thursday. He was able to cruise through the first four innings without allowing any damage, but he fell apart in the fifth. Three singles, a walk and a three-run double by Anthony Santander ultimately ended the 34-year-old's day and led to his second loss of the season. Arrieta will look to bounce back when he takes the ball next week in Boston.

Arrieta (1-1) picked up the win in Saturday's 5-0 victory over Atlanta, scattering three hits and a walk over six scoreless innings. He struck out six.
EDGE Analysis
The right-hander befuddled Atlanta hitters for 89 pitches (56 strikes) before exiting, and the Philly bullpen did the rest. The 34-year-old looked like he might be done last year, but Arrieta has turned back the clock to begin 2020, posting a 2.45 ERA and strong 10:1 K:BB through his first 11 innings. He'll look to keep rolling in his next scheduled outing at home Thursday against the Orioles -- the team that drafted him back in 2007.

Arrieta (0-1) gave up three earned runs on seven hits and zero walks while striking out four in five innings Monday against the Yankees. He took the loss.
EDGE Analysis
He gave up two solo home runs -- one to DJ LeMahieu and one to Brett Gardner. Arrieta had a 95.2 percent strand rate in this debut outing, largely due to the fact he kept the ball on the ground (62.5 percent groundball rate). His next start will come this weekend against the Braves.

Arrieta will start Monday's game against the Yankees, Meghan Montemurro of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
The veteran right-hander was originally set to make his season debut last Monday against the Yankees, but Miami's COVID-19 outbreak while in Philadelphia meant the Phillies took a full week off to ensure they didn't produce any positive tests. The team was able was able to hold workouts after activities were initially shut down, so Arrieta's workload shouldn't be significantly impacted by the delay.

Arrieta is scheduled to make his first start of the season Sunday against the Blue Jays in Philadelphia, Jim Salisbury of NBC Sports Philadelphia reports.
EDGE Analysis
Arrieta had been in line to make his first turn of 2020 at home Monday against the Yankees, but the entire series was cancelled after at least 17 Marlins players and coaches tested positive for COVID-19 following the team's weekend series in Philadelphia. Major League Baseball is apparently confident that the opposing locker room and dugout will meet all health-related protocols this weekend, so the Phillies will serve as hosts for the Blue Jays, who will be playing as the home team in Philadelphia since the team has yet to finalize a permanent home venue of its own for 2020. After having off from Monday through Thursday, the Phillies will use the break to reorder their rotation. Aaron Nola and Zack Wheeler will start the first two games of the series before Arrieta takes the hill in the finale.

Arrieta won't make his scheduled start Tuesday against the Yankees after the game was postponed due to COVID-19-related concerns, Joel Sherman of the New York Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
With several Marlins players and coaches testing positive for COVID-19 over the weekend when the team played in Philadelphia, both the Phillies and Yankees are understandably reluctant to play at Citizens Bank Park. On the heels of the second straight postponement in Philadelphia, the Yankees have returned to the Bronx, where they are expected to host the Phillies for the remaining two games of the home-and-home series. Unless the Phillies choose to reorder their rotation following the back-to-back postponements, Arrieta is projected to start Wednesday in New York.
