As always, we're here to try and help with your daily/weekly lineups. I'm filling in for the regular @Roto_Dubs this week, as he has "real life" stuff to attend to. Jacob Turner Torched By Angels rotoballer.com Wed 8/8/18 4:15 AM

Starting pitcher Jacob Turner made his return to the Detroit Tigers, the team he was selected by in the first round of the MLB draft in 2009. Turner has bounced around the league since, and his return to the Tigers was anything but a triumphant homecoming. Turner allowed seven runs (five earned) in just one inning of work on Tuesday, and it's safe to say he doesn't belong anywhere near a fantasy baseball lineup.

Jacob Turner To Enter Rotation rotoballer.com Mon 8/6/18 12:54 PM

Detroit Tigers starting pitcher Jacob Turner will replace Mike Fiers, who was traded to the A's on Monday, in the starting rotation. Turner will be making his first start for the team since 2012. In 80 innings at Triple-A this year, Turner has gone 3-4 with a 4.50 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and weak 6.5 K/9. He's made 22 appearances, with 11 being starts. It's safe to say Turner won't be a great fantasy option in any format.

Jacob Turner Struggles In Spot Start; Nowhere Near A Fantasy Option rotoballer.com Sun 7/17/16 7:46 PM

White Sox pitcher Jacob Turner lost after allowing eight runs on seven hits (two homers) and three walks with two strikeouts on Sunday against the Angels. It was not a pretty sight, but expectations should not have been high for the former buzzy prospect who carried a 4.71 ERA and 1.44 [...]
