Pence (groin) could be activated as soon as Sunday, Dawn Klemish of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pence ran the bases prior to Friday's game, though not at full speed, and feels he's close to returning. The next step for the All-Star designated hitter is another round of batting practice before the Rangers evaluate him. If Pence does not return Sunday, he's expected to go out on a short rehab stint in the minors.

Pence (groin) took live batting practice Wednesday, Evan Grant of The Dallas Morning News reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pence also did some running along the infield as he continues to work his way back from a groin injury that has kept him sidelined since June 17. While the veteran is making progress, he isn't expected to return before the end of the month, leaving Shin-Soo Choo and Willie Calhoun to split DH duties in the meantime.

Pence (groin) is unlikely to return until July, Stefan Stevenson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
EDGE Analysis
He is only running at 60-70 percent, which manager Chris Woodward says likely rules Pence out through the series in Tampa Bay this weekend. Joey Gallo and Nomar Mazara should typically start from center to left while Shin-Soo Choo and Willie Calhoun start in left field and designated hitter while Pence is sidelined.

Pence (groin) isn't expected to miss more than 10-to-14 days while on the injured list, Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports.
EDGE Analysis
While it doesn't appear as though Pence will be able to return right at the 10-day minimum, the Rangers are optimistic he'll be ready to roll by the end of June. It remains unclear as to whether he'll require a rehab stint prior to coming off the shelf.

Pence (groin) was placed on the 10-day injured list Monday.
EDGE Analysis
Pence exited Sunday's game with right groin tightness after pulling up while attempting to run down a flyball in right field, and an MRI on Monday confirmed the issue is serious enough to warrant a stay on the injured list. The Rangers have yet to provide a timetable for Pence's return, though he'll be eligible for activation June 27. Willie Calhoun (quadriceps) was activated from the injured list in a corresponding move and should see time at DH and in the outfield in place of Pence.

Pence will undergo an MRI on his injured right groin Monday, T.R. Sullivan of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pence was removed from Sunday's game with an injury that did not look good, per manager Chris Woodward. "I saw what you saw," Woodward said. "I am not a doctor, but when it looks like he got shot, it's never a good sign. Hunter is kind of a freak, so maybe he'll be better than I anticipated. When you see a guy pull up like that, it's typically never a good sign. I don't think it's great, but we'll see the severity of it [Monday]." With the possibility Pence going on the injured list, the Rangers can opt to activate Willie Calhoun (quadriceps), who just played four games while on rehab for Triple-A Nashville.

Pence has been diagnosed with right groin tightness after leaving Sunday's game against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
Pence is set to be re-evaluated Monday to determine the extent of the injury. Danny Santana could see more action if Pence is forced to miss time.

Pence was removed from Sunday's game against the Reds in the fifth inning with an apparent groin or hamstring injury, Stefan Stevenson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pence appeared to suffer the injury while attempting to run down a flyball along the right-field line. The outfielder looked to be in a fair deal of pain while walking off the field with a noticeable limp, suggesting his injury could be more than a day-to-day concern. The Rangers will reassess his condition after the game and presumably provide an update at that time. The full extent of his injury may not be known until Monday in the event the Rangers elect to send Pence in for testing.

Pence is not starting Saturday against the Reds.
EDGE Analysis
The Rangers' lineup will remain a man short due to the lack of a designated hitter in a National League park, and Pence is the odd man out for the second game in a row. He could still start Sunday, as he's started 19 games in the outfield this season.

Pence is not in the lineup for Friday's game at Cincinnati, Stefan Stevenson of the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.
EDGE Analysis
Pence will head to the bench for Friday's series opener with the Rangers having to go without a designated hitter in an NL park. The 36-year-old is enjoying a resurgent season with a .293/.354/.597 slash line and 14 homers in 53 games.
