The Nationals reinstated Kendrick (hamstring) from the 10-day injured list Monday, Dan Kolko of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Before moving to the IL earlier this month with the mild hamstring strain, Kendrick had thrived in a part-time capacity with the Nationals this season, slashing an impressive .316/.367/.526 with 12 home runs in 275 plate appearances. Though he's ostensibly healthy again, Kendrick's lengthy injury history makes it unlikely he'll be counted on to take on a sizable role over the final two months of the season. Expect the 36-year-old to see most of his starts against left-handed pitching while working in the short side of a platoon at first base with Matt Adams.

Kendrick was placed on the 10-day injured list Sunday, retroactive to Aug. 1, Jesse Dougherty of The Washington Post reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kendrick was scratched from Friday's lineup with leg cramps but the injury has been re-classified as a hamstring strain. According to Mark Zuckerman of MASN Sports, there's no real concern for the veteran infielder as he isn't scheduled to undergo an MRI and should return after the 10-day minimum.

Kendrick was scratched from the lineup Friday against the Diamondbacks due to leg cramps and remains out Saturday, Mark Zuckerman of MASN Sports reports.
EDGE Analysis
Kendrick was originally slated to start Friday with lefty Alex Young on the mound for Arizona but was a last-minute scratch, with Matt Adams starting at first base despite the platoon disadvantage. Gerardo Parra starts at the position Saturday with another lefty (Robbie Ray) on the mound.

Kendrick went 3-for-5 with two doubles and a run scored in Tuesday's loss to Atlanta.
EDGE Analysis
With Ryan Zimmerman (foot) on the injured list and Matt Adams (foot) also not 100 percent, Kendrick has started five straight games and gone 8-for-21 (.381) with three two-baggers, although he's failed to record an RBI during that stretch. Adams could be back in action by the weekend, but Kendrick's hot streak could be enough to earn him more than the short side of a platoon at first base going forward. Kendrick will be out of the lineup for Wednesday's series finale, however, as Gerardo Parra draws the start at first base.

Kendrick got the start at DH during Wednesday's loss to the Orioles and went 0-for-4.
EDGE Analysis
It was only his third start through 11 games in July, as Ryan Zimmerman's return from the IL and Brian Dozier's recent success at the plate have cut down Kendrick's main paths to at-bats. The veteran utility man is still hitting .353 (6-for-17) on the month, but Kendrick's fantasy value will be restricted to deep NL-only formats unless he can find his way back into the Nats' starting lineup consistently again.

Kendrick is out of the lineup for Thursday's game against the Marlins.
EDGE Analysis
Kendrick will be on the bench for consecutive days after having previously drawn four straight starts. Three of those starts came in contests in which the Nationals had the designated hitter spot available, but Kendrick looks likely to remain on the bench more often than not when the team plays in National League parks. Kendrick's lack of an everyday role is a frustrating reality for fantasy mangers while he maintains a magnificent .323/.376/.562 slash line for the season.

Kendrick went 1-for-3 with a walk and a stolen base in Sunday's extra-inning loss to the Braves.
EDGE Analysis
Kendrick recorded a single during the Nationals' two-run seventh inning before adding a walk and stolen base -- his second of the season -- two innings later. The utility man is now slashing .362/.455/.596 with three home runs, 10 RBI and a 7:4 BB:K through 16 games this month.

Kendrick is out of the lineup for Monday's game against the Phillies.
EDGE Analysis
With Brian Dozier resting in Sunday's blowout win over the Diamondbacks, Kendrick manned second base and delivered three hits while driving in two runs and scoring two of his own. The 35-year-old has been dialed in at the plate throughout the season, but he'll still be forced to sit somewhat regularly against right-handed pitching while Dozier and first baseman Matt Adams have both performed well of late in those matchups.

Kendrick went 3-for-4 with a walk, two runs scored and two RBI in Sunday's rout of the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
The 35-year-old slid over to second base in this one with Matt Adams manning first, as Nats manager Dave Martinez tries to keep Kendrick's hot bat in the lineup. He's now slashing .361/.452/.667 through 12 games in June with three homers and 10 RBI.

Kendrick is not in the lineup Thursday against the Diamondbacks.
EDGE Analysis
Kendrick has started six of the past seven games, slashing .292/.393/.458 with a homer, five RBI and a 3:3 BB:K during that stretch. Gerardo Parra will start at first base and hit sixth against right-hander Zack Greinke in this one.
