Henry Rodriguez is expected to report to Marlins' camp on Sunday. Rodriguez has been dealing with visa issues but apparently they've been resolved. He'll have time to catch up and compete for a spot in the bullpen.

Henry Rodriguez has yet to report to Marlins' camp due to visa issues. Fellow non-roster reliever Jesus Sanchez is already dealing with visa problems. Rodriguez is coming off a disappointing season that saw him designated for assignment twice, but he'll have a good shot to crack the Opening Day bullpen if he can get his visa issue sorted out soon.

Marlins signed RHP Henry Rodriguez to a minor league contract with an invitation to spring training. Rodriguez walked 20 batters in 22 innings last season at the major league level. The 26-year-old will try to iron out his control issues this spring with the goal of winning a spot in the Marlins' Opening Day bullpen.

Cubs sent RHP Henry Rodriguez outright to Triple-A Iowa. Rodriguez was designated for assignment Sunday but has cleared waivers and will remain in the organization. The hard-thrower has a 4.09 ERA and ugly 12/20 K/BB ratio over 22 appearances in the majors this season.

Cubs acquired RHP Henry Rodriguez from the Nationals in exchange for RHP Ian Dickson. Rodriguez had been designated for assignment last week. Despite a 5.13 ERA and 1.50 WHIP since the beginning of last season, it's no surprise that it didn't take him long to find another job in the majors, there's always someone willing to take a chance on a guy that can throw 100 mph. Rodriguez figures to work the middle innings initially, but in the Cubs' unstable bullpen, he could find his way to the later frames if he pitches well.

Nationals designated RHP Henry Rodriguez for assignment. The move clears a spot for Ian Krol on the 40-man roster. Rodriguez has a big arm, but he has walked 16 batters in just 18 innings this season and had a 5.83 ERA in 35 appearances last season. However, someone will presumably take a chance on him.

Henry Rodriguez has won the final spot in the Nationals' bullpen. Rodriguez dealt with some soreness in his elbow last week, but he has bounced back with three scoreless appearances since Monday. The hard-throwing right-hander will operate in middle relief.

Despite allowing a hit and walking two, Henry Rodriguez pitched a scoreless inning Wednesday against the Braves. Rodriguez was troubled by a sore elbow last week, but it hasn't stopped him from pitching two scoreless innings over the last three days. It looks like he'll be on the Nationals' Opening Day roster.

Henry Rodriguez (elbow) is scheduled to pitch in Monday's Grapefruit League game. Rodriguez felt some soreness the other day while stretching, but the Nationals don't think it's serious. Barring any setbacks, the hard-throwing right-hander should be ready for the start of the season.
