Robles signed a minor-league contract with the Dodgers on Friday, Juan Toribio of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Robles was let go by the Red Sox last weekend after being designated for assignment, and he'll need to earn his place with the Dodgers on his minor-league contract. The right-hander picked up a pair of saves for Boston but sputtered to a 5.84 ERA and 1.58 WHIP in 24.2 innings over 26 innings. He should report to Triple-A Oklahoma City to begin his time with his new organization.

Robles was released by the Red Sox on Saturday.
EDGE Analysis
Robles was an important part of the Boston bullpen early in the season and even picked up a pair of saves, but he was designated for assignment Tuesday after allowing 11 runs in 5.2 innings over his last eight outings. The veteran righty does have at least one save in each of the last five seasons, which could make him an interesting pickup for teams looking to add a bit of experience to the their bullpen, but his 5.63 ERA over the last three seasons may dissuade most potential suitors.

Robles was designated for assignment by the Red Sox following Tuesday's 8-4 loss to the Rays, Sean McAdam of BostonSportsJournal.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
The 31-year-old surrendered a run on a hit and two walks in one inning Tuesday, and he's now been removed from the 40-man roster in order to make room for Wednesday's starting pitcher Brayan Bello on the active roster. Robles had two saves, six blown saves and seven holds in 26 appearances to go along with a 5.84 ERA, 1.58 WHIP and 21:14 K:BB across 24.2 innings.

Robles (1-3) allowed three runs on two hits and three walks while striking out one, taking the loss against the Cubs on Friday.
EDGE Analysis
This was another Red Sox bullpen special. What started as a potential Boston romp -- up 4-0 after two innings -- turned into a gut-punch loss. Robles was the culprit Friday, but it's not surprising given his recent performance. Over his last seven outings, Robles has allowed 10 runs, six walks and 12 hits over 4.2 innings. That includes three blown saves and two losses. Early in the season, the right-hander looked like a late-inning staple, but Robles has a 9.20 ERA and is 1-for-6 in save chances since April 29.

Robles (1-2) was handed the loss and blown save during Saturday's 7-6 defeat at the hands of the Mariners, allowing two runs on three hits and one walk in two-thirds of an inning. He failed to record a strikeout.
EDGE Analysis
After Boston took a one-run lead in the top of the ninth, Robles was brought in for the save opportunity. The 31-year-old recorded the second out with two runners on but surrendered two more singles to lose the game and suffer his league-leading fourth blown save. Matt Strahm and Tanner Houck have recorded the last three saves for the Red Sox, and Robles may not get many more ninth-inning opportunities if other pitchers perform better in the closer role.

Robles (back) was activated from the injured list Thursday, Jen McCaffrey of The Athletic reports.
EDGE Analysis
Robles was originally scheduled to make two rehab appearances with Triple-A Worcester but the first game was rained out. Instead, he flew west to join the team and is being activated after a minimum stay on the injured list. Robles could factor into the closer picture, as he had picked up two saves while maintaining a 2.65 ERA, 1.06 WHIP and an 11:6 K:BB across 17 frames prior to being sidelined.

Robles (back) joined the Red Sox in Anaheim and is expected to be activated off the 15-day injured list Thursday, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Robles had been scheduled to throw a rehab inning for Triple-A Worcester on Tuesday, but the outing was postponed due to rain. Instead of taking part in the doubleheader Wednesday, he threw a bullpen session and flew to the west coast to hook up with the Red Sox.

Robles (back) was scheduled to pitch an inning for Triple-A Worcester in Buffalo on Tuesday, but the game was rained out.
EDGE Analysis
The game will be made up as part of a doubleheader Wednesday. Assuming Robles pitches an inning Wednesday, his return to the Red Sox could be delayed at least one day. There was talk of him returning for the final game of the series against the Angels on Thursday -- the first day he's eligible -- but his return could be pushed to Friday against the Mariners.

Robles (back spasms) will make a rehab appearance Tuesday and could rejoin the Red Sox Thursday in Anaheim, Sonja Chen of MLB.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
An initial report had Robles making two rehab appearances, but manager Alex Cora thinks the right-hander will need just one. "He'll throw his inning, see how it goes," Cora said, "and the hope is for him to join us [June 9]." Robles will throw an inning for Triple-A Worcester in Buffalo.

Robles (back spasms) will likely get two rehab appearances before rejoining the team, Christopher Smith of MassLive.com reports.
EDGE Analysis
Robles, who has been one of the more reliable arms in a shaky bullpen, was placed on the 15-day injured list, retroactive to May 25. Smith adds Robles is expected to return to the Red Sox during their series versus the Angels -- he's eligible to be activated from the IL on Thursday, assuming he doesn't suffer a setback.
